They overperformed a little last year but this is a little more than regular regression I think they are playing below their ability.
Taylor Hall did big time otherwise they probably finish worse than us. Right now there goaltending situation needs to get figured out. They are not good enough to survive it.

I certainly interpreted the context wrong, and my first mistake was reading the comments... always a mistake. I thought Crosby was complaining about the "well fight me" comment from AO. I stand corrected.
Now, any right/obligation Crosby has to talk to the refs, Ovechkin has it as well. Thinking that was an instigator, well I don't know what to tell you or Sidney. Gloves were off at the same time, the Pens were looking for Wilson to fight, because the code, and the GM was even calling wilson out to fight. There isn't a single similar fight that anyone can find where the guy in Wilson's position received the extra 2. That's all Wilson bias clouding judgement.

NJ is playing a little below their ability and Hall isn’t quite MVP level although he looks awesome and is always buzzin. This kid in net for NJ has looked good.

They were hemmed in their own zone for the entire previous shift because he kept f***ing up the exits. Passed to the goalie to get a change. Comes back out and scores, then Gaudreau immediately flies past him and ties it again. Shit was vintage.

How does John Chayka still have a job? Will Arizona score more than a goal a game anytime soon?
Have to root for them to go all the way. Would be nice to have that first rounder albeit a late one.
Might not be as easy to grab 2 additional first rounders like we did last year.
Oh, I do want Tampa to get us the most we can get. Pretty sure they will be there in the final if they have no seriously bad luck.

That team could use a shot in the arm off of some good goaltending. That was a really good game to watch. Columbus is good. Not sure they're quite top end but they are without a doubt a formidable playoff team.

Seriously wtf is up with this schedule? I feel like The Rangers have played 3 games on the past 3 weeks. Last night I think all 30 teams aside from us played lmao. And we still don’t have another game until tomorrow? What gives?

I feel like I'm following a football team.
Yeah thats what I said in the last GDT, it seems forever between games. Not even sure how many back to backs they have moving forward, has to be a lot.
Coaching and/or management changes may be coming in Arizona after Christmas.

The Rangers have played one more game this month than Liverpool.
You know, a soccer team.
For those of you who aren't privy, a typical pro soccer team, if they're successful in tournaments, might play 65 times in a 38 week season, under two games a week, or a game every four days.
That's where we're at with the schedule.
Meanwhile, after this month, the Rangers only have five two-day breaks the remainder of the season. Of course, one of them is TEN f***ING DAYS. Granted, it's technically the all-star break. But our last game is six days before the all-star break, and then we go into the all-star break.
You either barely have a chance to breathe, or you forget what team you follow between games. No middle ground in this league.

Agree, the schedule this year has been bewildering. Some of the guys probably already forgot how to play hockey
