Good enough to play 16+ minutes on a Cup contending team.
Not good enough to play those minutes on our dumpster-fire D.
Girardi was on the top pairing with Hedman, and now he has been on the bottom pairing with Coburn.
It’s kinda Smoke and mirrors over in Tampa with their D. They score over 4 goals a game nearly every game, so the D is going to be overlooked. Especially with them having elite goaltending. They are sporting a league leading 4.02 GF/GP, but their GA/GP is like middle of the league.
I wish the Rangers were able to score 4 goals a game, heck even 3 every game, and with Lundqvist in net, they would likely be 1st in the metro right now.

Have they looked into Paul Holmgren? He will accept nothing less than immediate results. None of this patience or build through youth crap. Maybe trade some of those kids that take too long to contribute for some available vets in New York.

Man tanking aint easy. Over the last ten games the Rangers have an unspectacular 9 points. Out of the 10 teams currently below them in the league standings, only Florida (10), Philly (10 and St Louis (11) have more points in the same time frame.
Lucky games+sweetheart schedule will do that.
I have little to no doubt that Philly, NJ and FLA will pass the Rangers. I wouldn't rule out StL either but I wouldn't count on it, depends on what they do.
Rumors are swirling that a sale will be complete soon, is a potential ownership shakeup related to that?

I don’t know but I do know that Andy Barroway the Coyotes owner lives in Philadelphia and has been a Flyer STH for 30 years. He is surely watch8ngwhat is going on there. The Flyers have been trusting the process, just like the Coyotes. Until recently.
I’ve know first hand they have been talking to someone about buying a piece of the team. There also have been rumors that Barroway is ready to sell completely. I also know they still have not exercised an arena option to play next year in Arizona. It seems like something is going to come to a head soon.
I'm starting to see why Leafs fans are universally disliked on HF. S5 started a thread about the nice play Chytil made on the Hayes goal and they got super defensive like he was shitting on Rielly or something. It was a pro-Chytil, not an anti-Rielly thread. Thinnest skinned fanbase this side of the Habs, holy shit.

Typical leaf disrespect. What, their skin can't be thinner than habs fans? Just jealous of their revenue and long history of being thinned skinned. This is why Bettman angles to steal Canadian teams away.
Its amazing. I thought in 2014 the Habs fan base was intolerable but the Leafs fans yikes and they haven't even won a playoff round yet in how long??? 13 years! We are not talking about a small market team like the Coyotes. I just hope somehow Boston gets it together grabs the 2 or 3 seed in the Atlantic and knocks them out again in the first round.

I didn’t, because once any fan base has been incited, that kind of stuff is pretty predictable. And our guy did indeed incite their reaction.
