The NHL soils itself for cronyism and nepotism so hard, Chuck Fletcher being an advisor is ridiculous. He destroyed the Wild and did a great job with the Flyers, he shouldn't have a job in the NHL at all unless it's for Vegas, Edmonton, Or Chicago.

As somebody who dislikes both players... I like it.

But I have to say that Toews was far, far better from the NZ onward. Way better offensive gifts/IQ. Ol Jordie was kind of a goober with the puck on his stick if we're being completely honest with ourselves.

The allure that his pea brain might somehow spark some DNA of his Dad and actually do good as a hockey exec.

He would randomly really wire one bar down and you'd be like "OK whoa wait a minute" but yeah for the most part I called him "barn door."

With his current role I doubt it. He did an amazing job with the Flyers. Ruining them further.

Staal had the definition of a good not great career. Had a 100 point season and won a cup. Never won any individual awards but was always a key player in his prime.

I feel old watching some of these guys retiring.
