So Hart - Dube - Comtois- Batherson- Formenton? Y'all looking the other way just like your masters want 😂 and ALG you expose your true nature everytime you post. Wouldn't be surprised if you turned out to be Stillman's account
Foote and McLeod would seem possible as well now.

There was a part of me that always wondered if there was something more to Fabbro's seeming to be jerked around than just on-ice/practice stuff. Guess we'll know within the next day or few.

It's possible that being associated with that team hurt his trade value which is why we haven't moved him either. Regardless its good that this is finally getting resolved and punishments doled out both for those involved to face repercussions and those who weren't to clear their names.

As for future game scouting, next Jets game is in March. Tavares?

EDIT: I’m just going to put this here. I think the Preds were scouting Tavares and Huberdeau with the 2 scouts at the Calgary game.

Scouting these two teams makes it more likely that the Preds are looking to be sellers. With where they are in the standings, neither of these teams are going to be trading someone who can provide immediate help unless it is a cap dump.

We could be the cap space and young padawan learner dumping area in a three way, but do we have any veterans that desperately want to be moved?

Near where sand and waves meet.
2016: Hintz (49th)
2017: Robertson (39th)
2017: Oettinger (26th)
2019: Harley (18th)
2021: Johnston (23rd)

The Stars' scouts are doing SOMETHING right. It's not always blind luck after you get past the top-10.
Hintz was a 2015 pick ... they took Gurianov in the first before him and the rest of that draft class never made the NHL.
Their 2016 draft class has 4 NHL goals and about 100ish games played.
2017 they did well.
2018, not so much with Dellandrea as their best pick
2019 was Harley in the mid 1st and nothing else.

Their 3rd and later picks aren't hitting. No Arvy, Carrier or even a Novak in there for them.

Could add Bourque and Stankoven since they are the two best players in the AHL atm and would be in the NHL already for many team... :(

Need to steal their homework
Well, it's not always that overly complicated. For example, when they brought up Johnston they stapled him as the 3C with good support veterans to play with and some PP time. He quickly develop there and now they're putting him on their 1st line.

Point is, you have to be consistent with your development. Zig-zagging your prospects between lines every other game with different linemates and a different role can just confuse them.

Yeah, obviously there's some misses in there as well.

But the bottom-line is that they have found their franchise center, franchise winger and franchise all outside the top-25 in the draft. And another future top-six center and a very likely top-pair defenseman.

Their only top pick, Heiskanen, is also doing quite well.

Depth is nice to have, but I'd rather draft that elite talent and then fill the depth department through trade and UFA.
