Having no standards can itself be a standardThe shitchickens claiming to have organizational standards to promote a professional and safe work environment is the biggest joke I’ve heard in a loooooong time.

I don't know.Does Hynes get a video tribute Thursday night?
I don't know.
But he's now the all time most winning coach in Minnesota Wild history.
Simply in terms of winning percentage, minimum of a single game.
I’d probably take that for BarrieZadorov to the canucks for a 5th next year and a 3rd in a couple years. No wonder we havent traded anyone
Woof. That's a weak returnZadorov to the canucks for a 5th next year and a 3rd in a couple years. No wonder we havent traded anyone
There is gonna be alot of haggling and hoping that 3rd parties step in for retention. With most teams cap strapped and out of options, this TDL may very well be dead at best. Teams are just going to have to make do with what they have unless one of the few teams with cap space are willing to work with them
Vancouver's total payout was Beaullivier (to Chi for a 2024 5th which they flipped here) plus their 6th in 2026 to get Zadorov who is on record as wanting a trade and the Flames seemed less worried about return than they were about moving him out.Zadorov to the canucks for a 5th next year and a 3rd in a couple years. Give it time, they are in that new coach bump and are just out efforting teams atm. Once he starts trying to get his system in it will be all down hill.Think Minny might be cooking again... 2-0 under Hynes and now up 3-0 against the Hawks after the 1st period.
After 7 periods of Johnny Hynes Hockey, their goal differential is 12-2, lol.

So then Saros should get called out for his subpar performances following the Prague trip. He started 8 of the first 10 games when the team went 3-6-1 overall, Saros 2-5-1 in those 8 starts, giving up 3 or more five times. Or does he somehow only get credit and not blame … now across multiple coaches? (it took him stopping 34 of 35 in his 19th start to climb back up to a .900 sv% under Bruno … can’t blame Hynes this season).Saros kept it respectable not Hynes. The team didn’t limit high danger chances yet also failed to generate offense . 18 th in expected goals 28th expected goals against
Sounds like he's just judging the player based on the entirety of the season. Saros isn't going to play great every game or stretch of games- no player does- but I think it's hard to make the case that Saros wasn't the #1 reason the Preds even sniffed playoff contention last year.So then Saros should get called out for his subpar performances following the Prague trip. 7 points in the first 10 games was the deciding segment of the season. Even taking 61.667% of possible points across the next 30 games wasn’t enough to dig out of that hole. Hynes, Johansen, Duchene, Forsberg, Josi, Saros all contributed to that bad start … and all contributed to the next 65-70 games trying to dig back out of that hole into a playoff spot.
Honestly, Saros seems to struggle early in every season. So then Saros should get called out for his subpar performances following the Prague trip. He does. If you’re going to cite him as the one thing that made things “respectable” last season then his typical sluggish start also deserves citing for the team’s overall bad early performance.Honestly, Saros seems to struggle early in every season.

Yet when the same standard is applied to those that aren’t HF favorites people here become aghast.Sounds like he's just judging the player based on the entirety of the season. So is your take that Hynes system last season was fine?Yet when the same standard is applied to those that aren’t HF favorites people here become aghast.
You just conveniently odid I say it didn't?
Hynes though is responsible for the system that continued to bleed high danger scoring chances.
