Well doctors the NHL says “suck it”
Sabres Feb/MArch combined schedule is the same pace (26 games in 46 days = 0.57 games per day) as 40 in 70.

The organization I coach for and my kids play for use these exact systems. They work
IIRC, Housley had the Sabres playing man-on-man, with no switches/rotations/zone. That's like horse-drawn infantry against German panzers during the series of blitzkriegs.

They're recycling systems that any player at that level already knows. It's totally lacking in intellectual creativity. Any competent coach could do that. The Pegulas demand more. The Krueger method is a process that incorporates structural dynamic concepts in a holistic biodiverse platform that achieves connectivity through quantum principles. It does require practice. Once mastered it's possible to control game events at a subatomic level (ref Schrödinger's puck). Theoretically, a team schooled in this system would never lose a game. I'm sure the Sabres could "succeed" using the tried and true methods, but what we're really striving for here is perfection.
All that is within the "framework we are trying to achieve". It's like art inside a frame. If it's just canvas, or just a canvas on a stretcher, it's incomplete. The frame makes the art complete.

Actually what we are seeing is a high level gamesmanship from Krueger. He has setup all the dominos. His system is reliant on far east meditation scrolls he has only been able to read in the presence of the dali lama. He's been working diligently to get them shipped from Tibet to Buffalo so the team may unlock their hidden potential and lay waste to the NHL. But, Ralph has learned the Chinese "Communists" will not allow the scrolls to be shipped to America without 1.2 Billion USD, cash. Ralph, of course, has accounted for this, however, the transfer from his German gold bars to USD will take several business days to complete due to interference from directly Angela Merkel. And the chinese are threatening to shred the scrolls containing the ancient secrets unless a wire payment is made immediately. Terry simply has to wire the account with 1.2B USD and Ralph will transfer it back after his gold is converted to EUR in Germany, plus an extra few million to cover transaction fees and interest. To ensure it gets there, Ralph will travel overseas and wire Terry back the money needed and escort the scrolls back from China. It's really riveting stuff, the ancient tibetan scrolls should unlock all potential and the Sabres will soon dominate the NHL. Hopefully Terry wires the money soon.

Told Sabres needed claim Balcers. 6 points in nine games is not too shabby. But what I know. Sabres management is very smart people

I've never played hockey (or any professional sport) but i completely understand you guys.

Ken Baker's book is a fantastic read. It's one of the best books I've read - it perfectly portrays what you guys are talking about. Competing in professional sport is like a drug to certain people who are lucky enough to get the chance. From a guy like Baker who never fulfilled his potential - to a guy like Lundqvist who played at the top level for years - some guys are just wired this way.

They Don't Play Hockey in Heaven: A Dream, A Team, and My Comeback Season by Ken Baker

(thanks to @Chainshot for the reccomendation a number of years ago)

Glad you liked it!

Ovie with the cheap & dirty pitchfork on Frederic.

For some reason I can't stop laughing about it though, Frederic playing the role of an annoying gnat and Ovie playing the role of a fly-swatter. Frederic probably gonna think twice about playing the pest with Ovie again

I laughed out loud. Frederic crosschecked Ovi twice, then got his reward

Ya I usually hate spearing, but- play stupid games win stupid prizes. Not a great move by Ovi to fall for it, but some dude crosschecks my wrist like that- he’s getting some composite stick coming back to him somewhere.

lol what a gamer.. pretty much begs Ovi for an uppercut just to get him off the ice. He’s a scumbag because he’s on the Bruins, but I can respect the hustle.

I forgot the Leafs had Brodie. That team is going to win the cup this year. Thorton/Spezza were also great additions.
