Yeah anything can happen in the playoffs but I don't see anyone beating the Kings unless they run into a hot goalie.

The Pacific is a top heavy division with a lot of bad teams to play against. There are currently 5 teams with below .500 points%. The Central is much more balanced with only 2 teams below .500 points%. Any model that accounts for strength of remaining schedule will pick up on this.

True, but they are a mile behind the top 3 in their division so passing crap teams in their division isn't going to do them much good as it looks like the Centra is in a good position to take both WC slots. They sit 8 points back of that second spot. Their recent hot stretch really hasn't closed the gap much if at all.
