Looks like PLD is in the "disinterested going through the motions" phase of his season. Don't worry Kings fan, in a couple of games he will turn it on for a few games and leave you wondering where that player he has been. Welcome to the PLD rollercoaster.

Sharks give up 10 goals in b2b games.......................impressive.

I have no clue why their GM in all these years never done everything he could to solve the goaltending issue.
Edmonton is known as a goaltending graveyard. They've had plenty of good goals who performed very well before coming or after leaving.

Brossoit, Talbot, Dubnyk, of the top of my head.

The problem isn't goaltending.

Their defense is trash, and they don't have the forwards depth not to get caved when mcjesus and Drai aren't in the ice, and those two aren't exactly defensive gems either. They just outscore their problems.

They have a pp2 that features Derek Ryan, and Sam f***ing Gagner is playing for them. A guy that was kind of washed up 2 years ago when he played for us.

I'm really glad that we don't have a generational talent on this team. If you don't win right away, they become salary bloat and you don't have the cheap young contracts to round out your team.

Sharks just might be Senators 1993 bad.
I had a feeling that their decision to go fully scorched earth would be unwise, but holy shit, it is going to be hopeless to rebuild that clusterf*** of a team. They have no NHL level talent on the team aside from a select few forwards, all of which are asked to do waaaaaaay too much. On one hand, it's kind of hilarious, but it's also quite unfair for some. If you're a young Sharks prospect, the last thing you want right now is to make it into the show and into that mess.

I often criticise the Jets for setting up our own prospects to bust, so I would also want to have a moment of silence for Kaapo Kähkönen, Mackenzie Blackwood, Magnus Chrona, and literally any other Sharks goalie who has to dress for them this year. In their own ways, each one is trying to rescue their careers as NHL goalies (or get one started in Chrona's case), and then they are given that to work with. No matter what they do or don't do, they can't win. It can't get much more miserable than that.
