He's from St. Vital ....................
His cousin is from Steinbach and owns and overhead door company. Very nice guy who use to buy Jets tickers from me especially when Chicago came to town.
He's from St. Vital ....................
This is super common in Europe (and Japan for that matter). Lots of towns dying out as people move to large centers.I heard a buddy talking about how Italy is encouraging people to relocate to their country by providing very affordable housing in smaller villages that have had depopulation challenges. Now we didn't get into details but he and his partner are going to travel there to check out the opportunities.
Bergeron retires
Boston Bruins star Patrice Bergeron announces retirement | TSN
Patrice Bergeron is hanging up his skates. One day after his 38th birthday, Bergeron announced his retirement in a statement posted by the Boston Bruins Tuesday.www.tsn.ca
One of the GOATs
And was still performing at a high level on his way out.
You think first ballot?Hall of Famer for sure in my opinion.
Also going to increase the trade chatter.
Amazing career. Imagine drafting a player like Bergy in the 2nd round. That changed the bruins fortunes for two decades. He reminds me a bit of Joe Sakic as in hard guys to hate even when they play against your team and kick your ass.
Mark Stuart drafted in the 1st round before Bergy by Boston that year .
Not enough for Scheif.Boston can't trade a Vezina winner so Swayman probably goes
Trade for both Scheif and Lindholm... they can afford it
Grezlyk, Frederick for Lindholm
Swayman, Geekie for Scheif
Tricky board... on one hand, there's no market for Scheif and on the other we never get enough returnNot enough for Scheif.
I would say not enough for Lindholm as wel..Not enough for Scheif.
Because he won't be in 2-5 years. Big returns are for guys like PLD who are entering their prime, not guys at the end of itI'm not sure why the offers for Scheifele aren't better. According to Jim Toth, he is an elite top-10 - 12 centre in the NHL.
Because he is a pending UFA and 30 years old. And we have no idea what the offers have actually been.I'm not sure why the offers for Scheifele aren't better. According to Jim Toth, he is an elite top-10 - 12 centre in the NHL.
He's also not a top 10 C in the league right now... or top 20...Because he won't be in 2-5 years. Big returns are for guys like PLD who are entering their prime, not guys at the end of it
