Let me put on my Lee Corso voice and say "Not so fast my friend!"
Let's not and say we did.

Coop in his presser today said,.. "It's amateur of us to think,... that because we snuck out a game in the end, that "Oh we're good."

See, even he knows the end is near. LOL

This is beside him saying we are a great team,... that turnovers are a recipe for disaster and a lot of it has to do with how the Rangers are playing.

He's a smart man and has no illusions of grandeur. He's not confident of their chances in everything he says.

I'm not an expert on the situation. But here's what I gathered from research:

He's short. And the Flyers organization is a complete mess right now.

From comments I read, fans don't like this decision.
Well, if they don't "like it" then that in itself should catapult us wanting him. They have NO CLUE what is good for them, and what isn't. Lol. Thank God, our org. has a better clue.

this is embarrassing from Edmonton
They're trying, but they're outclassed. Avs are really good at getting pucks to the net on Smith and just making him twist like a pretzel till he breaks.

That's the thing. I don't think they're trying

Colorado's compete level is and has been greater

Edmonton looking like Florida a bit... Don't want to play simple hockey or their just terrible at it. No adjustments

Anyone else barely watching this game?

Like the rest of the playoffs besides our games, most of the series have been extremely pedestrian. I stand by what I've said repeatedly; that the '22 playoffs have been the worst of any post lockout of '05.

You had to think it was eventually going to be Colorado's time. They have been knocking on the door for years now.

Just give us a chance to play them. I want to see it.

Yeah I tried to watch this series but it hasn't kept my attention. It felt like a foregone conclusion that Colorado would win even before it started. Even without Kuemper, Girard and Kadri, Colorado is just better than Edmonton unless McDavid and Draisaitl start putting up points like they did earlier in the playoffs. Draisaitl's ankle is toast. The most entertaining aspect for the Oilers has been Mike Smith, who is so bipolar that he looks completely lost sometimes and like a brick wall at others, often within the same game or even the same shift.

Maybe Edmonton will ditch these hideous alternates next year and their luck will be better

Western Conference has been bad
LA-Edm was arguably the most entertaining series in the West

What am I watching? Such unorganized hockey.
Edmonton is a chinese fire drill. Completely outcoached

you're playing a teeny tiny Goalie... how about some simple greasy hockey?

Hopefully this wakes them up and gets them skating

That spin move just before Hyman's goal by McDavid would break ankles on mortals who try it

Avs were a Chinese fire drill right there. Looked like a bad line change.

Kassian is such a Cro-Magnon dirtbag

Edit: ok, saw it again, it was Landeskog who rode Kassian into the boards

Terrible PP

However, Hyman has broken through many times this postseason
