don't think anyone is arguing that they're not.

They're not cup faves or anything, but they're better than us for sure. Maybe not on paper, but as a "team" they blow us out of the water and will be the heavy favorites in a 1st round matchup.

We won't be, people will take the Rangers on the basis of last year's run + Shesterkin flipping the switch from regular season to postseason. As much as any Devils fan wants to admit also, the Rangers haven't played with a full team yet with their TDL adds. If the Rangers look good heading into the playoffs with Kane adjusting then I can't see why a neutral fan wouldn't take NYR.

They play like Pittsburgh more of yesteryear than they do the 21-22 Panthers.

Oh it's gonna be a bloodbath for a decade probably. Some nasty prospects left in their pool. The D is only gonna get better ...

It's been said around here, that some think their rebuild looks better. I agree with that camp.

That said, they are a good team, I hope their G collapses and I'm starting to hate them again. Which is good, since the Pitt and Caps rivalries are fading.

Of course, questions and salutations from other fans are perfectly welcome in good faith, but that makes way more sense to deliver in threads about the Rangers if that's your purpose.

This thread is not your soapbox to argue with Rangers fans.

If something is said about your team in here that you don't like, don't read it. It's the Rangers board.

Maybe this is why I went to like three hardware stores and couldn't find a ruler, lol.
 
Watching the Devils game now, killing time before the Ducks game. Yeah, I really prefer to play Carolina first round. They are quick, and the passes are so crisp.

Interested what the Pens do this summer, they are so old, but their contracts for their stars are still really good value. They aren’t going to tank with Sid and Geno.

JT Miller seems like the obvious move in a trade, since the free agency list is lacking in that 26-29 age range.

Similar position as Washington? Their core is getting old, and don’t have much in the pipeline.
 
I know we came back against Edmonton but it feels like we can never come back otherwise from a multi goal lead. If we were down 4-0 to Columbus there's no way we make it a game like the Pens.
