Wonder what it would take to land Spencer Knight from the cats. I believe it was Linda Cohn this morning on xm91 that commented on Knights struggles this year. Maybe they are willing to move on. 4 more years of Bob at 10mil is definitely blocking him.

You should be thanking him. We all like the euphoria associated with these trades but Danault, Arvidsson and Edler turned out to be some big moves for us. He's playing it smart right now.

Certainly, at some point you can leverage the surplus of RHD for a goaltender prospect. But maybe they should be looking at former #1 picks that have lost their shine. Revive someone like they did Campbell and even Kuemper.

A few months back, I was arguing with somebody on the main board about Seattle not taking Max Domi at the expansion draft. I argued that Domi (6 mil salary) wasn't going to be worth the dollar amount for the return he'd fetch. The other poster was adamant that Domi at 50% would have gotten something valuable.

Unfortunately that thread must have been locked, I would have been petty and bumped his post to show that Domi at 75% only returned a pedestrian prospect.

Really liked what Guerin + Minnesota did at the deadline (and at the draft).

Added Fleury to pair with Talbot and added some more toughness with Deslauriers. In fact, he just scored to open the scoring against Vegas.

Minnesota just got even more hard to play against.
