Pittsburgh has the culture DL wishes he could've built here. And of course elitier elite talent.

I get what Carters saying, but were talking about two radically different systems and conferences. East has always been more up tempo and offense driven, while the west seems more on the tougher harder defensive structured. He came from a defense first system , and did well at it for a while when his linemates were scoring. Nobody could've expect Toffoli and Pearson to drop off like they did. We basically lost 40 plus goals on his line when they went MIA. Our system was gutted of any talent to replace them and we were left with slow bums who couldn't score on his line. Now he goes to the Pens that have the depth and guys who can score on their bottom 6. Not just plugs. I can see why he's happy there. Crosby and Malkin being there too doesn't hurt either.

Poor Byram. That's really sad. Hope he gets some normalcy, even if it takes a year or so. I feel like anecdotally some of the younger players have it better, they seem to bounce back well even if it sucks for a while. Luckily the Avs don't "need" him rushed...

The only thing Arizona has going for them are their jersey's.

I would wear one of those religiously. Too bad no one on that team is worth getting a jersey of.

Doughty is #2 overrated but was voted one of the top 5 best defensemen in the league by actual NHL players, just shows must fans don't know anything and many congregate on this site! And Fleury #3 overrated is ridiculous, one of the top goalies of all time.

The problem with that Zegras waaaay post-wistle shot is his teammate is lying in the middle of the goal -- his completely necessary & lame shot could have easily hit his teammate and injured him (could have hit him in the face!). Just dumb. If nobody was there, then ok it's a decent troll job. But here, it's dangerous to his OWN teammate.
