Zegras better be on team USA.

Back-to-back two-goal games for Zegras.

As a selfish anaheim fan... i hope not, granted i dont think people could touch him on international ice

As a USA fan... id love for Zegras + Terry... and honestly Fowler and Gibson should be strong candidates too.

I've got a feeling Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider are both probably better than our top prospects.

Insane production from a 19 and 20 year old. All while still having a good +/- nonetheless.

Yup Raymond and Seider looks early on that they are the real deal and will lead the Red Wings back into the playoffs. Possibly this year but for sure the near future. It's crazy how important great scouting and a little bit of luck can do to a franchise. One or two young kids can change the whole trajectory of an organization. Yzerman is a great GM, look what he did in Tampa and now in Detroit. Boy where people up in arms when he drafted Seider kid is a stud.

Look at Anaheim with Zegras, Drysdale, Terry, etc.. still early but the kids are turning around the Ducks. It would be pretty sad if none of our prospects live up to their expectations. Especially since our prospect pool is touted as being one of the best. But I have confidence Byfield, Turcotte and Clarke will be our three kids who can step up and help the Kings moving forward.

Seider/Raymond are going to fall off.
Both are great rookies, but both have stats that aren't really sustainable

Spicoli is pretty fun to watch when viewing the Ducks. Wonder if it was him that called the hotline when Bob Murray went Mr Hand on him in a text thread.

Terry reminds of Kempe, took a long time to figure it out, and who knows, he may flame out at times like him as well. This is his 4th year and he's on good streak no doubt, but a 30 pct shooting pct can't be sustained.

Let see where Byfield, Turcotte and Clarke will be after 150 games, I bet they will be doing better.

Ducks have a collection of 1st and 2nd round picks at forward that made the team a few years back - Terry, Steele, Comtois, and Jones were all highly touted for awhile now and dominated rookie camps.

Now add Zegras and McTavish and they are set up front.

It took those first four a few years to get going but Terry seems to be the breakout star from that first group.

None of the Kings prospects have been given the chance those first four have. Kinda a bummer.

Ducks traded or waived all the old players - Getzlaf is the only one left. Kings still holding onto Brown, Kopitar, traced for VA and signed Danault and AA - not that these are bad moves but makes it tough for Byfield, Turcotte and co to make the team. Ducks have room in the top 6 for youth.

Every Ducks line has at least one recent young player on it. Kings don’t have that until the 3rd or 4th lines with Kupari and Kayilev. This is why Kings need to walk away from Brown and deal one of Moore, Lizotte, Grunstrom.

Watch for Perrault to come up next year and be effective for them too. They also had a head start on their prospect pool\rebuild but nevertheless the quality of players they recently got are world class. None of our prospects are even close to being a legit top 6 yet.

The ducks prospects are exceling in the NHL because they were dominate in the AHL. Basically their development program works! Adding Wrobo a year or 2 earlier would of benefitted us tremendously. Let's hope that staff can work on Vilardi, I still think he is the key to fully transition to the youth movement.

I expect the Sabres to have a similar turnaround down the road with Quinn, JJ Peterka and now Krebs lighting it up in the AHL.

Until then, let's enjoy Brown in our top 6.

You should turn on a Ducks game if you think Terry is anything like Kempe. Terry is easily our best player with the puck on his stick.

re-read.

He was referencing taking a while for the motor to get going.

You don't have to search all the boards for something to be defensive about, you know.

So is Kempe at times when he's on. The problem is his inconsistency. Don't get me wrong, Terry's ripping it up at the moment, but I do see certain parallels . Looks their numbers , if you project out over 82, his number are about the same as Kempe's.

He didn’t say terry plays like kempe , he said reminded him of kempe. Late bloomer with inconsistencies.

this is a hot streak and it would be silly to think he’ll shoot 30%…. Luckily for terry if his shooting goes down he’s still a solid play maker and should be able to maintain a steady pace. But the likely hood of him being a 100 point player or even a ppg player is pretty low even with this start

Will be great for his long-term confidence either way. Now he knows what he CAN do in this league.
