I still think the finals will be Vegas/Tampa but it really goes to show you that you need a solid team build, star players for sure but they don’t have to all be 11 million or take up half the cap.
Balance with some blue collar skill wins in the playoffs.

What balance? Isles are a blue collar team with like 1 skill player.

LOL just checked the score 2-1 Isles. The crappy goalie Lou signed was good, the soft perimeter C, Barzal with the first goal and 3 wins away from the SC final.

Only 1 game and they may still lose but there is no shame in losing to the defending champs but wouldn't it look good on Shammy if the Isles can beat TB after beating Boston ??

Probably not a good idea to be ripping the Isles on a day when they take a 1-0 lead over TB. Might be better off to come back when TB wins a couple but it is going to be tough for them to take 2 from the Isles in their barn so it should be 2-2 going to game #5.
