EDIT: Tweet above was the response to tweet below

In what world was that only a 2 minute penalty on that hit? These f***ing refs are so f***ing dumb it's insane.

Gudbranson was seeing red, with good reason.

We have 3 similar hits in the last 3 days, and all of them had a different result. One 5 and out, one 2 minute penalty and one not called for anything.

Pitt with their 4th loss in a row and their announcers praising it for being a much better effort and a morale victory compared to the previous 3 defeats . lol .
Pittsburgh looks like a prototypical Dubas team. Their top 5 forwards are performing but they have ZERO depth. Treliving in 6 months has given us our best 3rd line since it was Bozak, JVR and Marner in 2016.

Cousins turtled twice?

After throwing a terrible hit he immediately dropped to his knees and went into bunker mode without even standing up for himself. A coward. Don't throw dumb stupid hits and hide like a coward if you can't back up your dumb hit.

The 2nd time was more understandable, getting wailed on like that.

Dubas main mistake was taking the Penguins job. He really did the only thing you could there, go all in with an aging core. It’s not a shock it’s not working out, but there really wasn’t a lot of other options either.

Had Dubas waited, he might have got consideration for the Ottawa job, or another team further along in the process.

Or maybe he hopes to rebuild Penguins in a year or so… who knows, but taking that job was a head scratcher for me. Pittsburgh typically doesn’t support the team in down periods either.
He fell in love with the city, remember? If the city didn't feel like Sudbury (lol, wut?) he never would've taken the job...🙄🙄🙄

Dubie was the one who built the bottom 6 over the summer , unfortunately for his supporters they have no one else to shift the blame too , lol

the guy has little to no ability to evaluate players or how to build a team , thankfully he's the Pens problem now

Finally having two NHL ready prospects in Knies and Robertson of course has nothing whatsoever to do with the team's newfound depth. At least not if it doesn't fit the anti-Dubas agenda ...

Given his promotion in position, id imagine he viewed the Pens as a longer term (5-10 year) project. Try to find a way to win with Crosby in his twilight then eventually oversee a rebuild from the ground up in a couple season once Sid retires

Oilers playing really well. Might be a new coach bump or not they look formidable.

They were due for some positive regression. They have also caught teams on the second half of back-to-backs while they were rested at home during this streak

Good on them for taking advantage of the schedule, but they're probably not this good. We'll see what happens when the schedule tightens up for them

Why does Edmonton concern anyone? I hope they make the playoffs because it's good for the league to have McDavid in the playoffs, but there is less than zero chance they do anything significant with that goaltending. Vegas would just roll over them again.
