An NHL ref screwed up an obvious call and created a chaotic mess and dangerous environment where people get hurt. A tale as old as time.

I was 100% wrong on this contract

2 knee surgeries. I was expecting Ladd/lucic/clarkson

He just got better and better

Agreed, as it stands millionaires lose a few thousand dollars in a suspension instead of a good butt wooping, let the players govern themselves to an extent

I mean, sure Cousins should have been challenged, but to believe you can pound on a guy laying on the ice... Nah...

Cousins did have it coming... for sure, we agree there.. but once he's on the ice...

Mostly, the refs screwed up here, they should have the hearing.

Best part about this, besides the hit, is Vlasic got up right away to get back into the play. And despite the Capitals scoring, there were no post-hit shenanigans that usually occur after every big hit (whether clean or not) these days. Nice to see a player take his lumps and get back on with his job.

I didn't see it posted yesterday... though I was pretty busy, and I usually post any teams signings etc... but given the recent discussions on Dubas, which I've read but not participated, I thought it had some humour. Good to see your humour in full bloom.

"turtling" isn't laying on the ice unconscious, it's a player using a cowardly position to defend himself instead of answering for his previous actions. Not only is he a coward, he's also a dirty player, not a good combination, and i don't know why your defending him...........

I'm not defending him in the least, and nowhere does it say I am.

Turtling is cowardly... so is punching someone on the ice turtled... they are both cowardly actions.
