Didn’t know where else to put this, but does anyone remember this guy when he used to be on FSW after the Kings games?

Hate to say it, but judging from how he acted on tv, it’s not really surprising he was big into the nose sugar. Happy that he seems to have found happiness though.

Don’t forget about Carolyn Hughes, who was suspended and eventually fired for sleeping with Derek Lowe. I also remember other FSW personalities like Michael Eaves (now with ESPN) and Christine “Double Penetration” Nubla. Patrick O’Neal is now the only remaining broadcaster left from the Fox ownership. Talk about loyalty.

Anyone else remember “Southern California Sports Report”? It was a nightly sports news show before they went with the “*insert team name* Live” set-up. Didn’t they have a studio inside Staples Center where you could see fans in the background? I always wondered what part of the arena that was.

Pretty sure it was the northeast corner at sidewalk level. Straight across from Tom's Urban (or whatever that is today).

Yes he was funny. Had a very droll delivery that was pretty unique. Had forgotten all about him.

Look on the bright side , if the Sharks and Ducks win it lowers the odds for them to get Bedard , and it's not like winning hurts LA ( it actuality helps ).
 
Markstrom had his one good game against LAK and is back to being trash. 4 goal thru 2 vs Van.

Is this the first time in forever that we are in playoff contention with high expectations while SJ and ANA are both lottery-bound? In the past, it was these five things:

LA sucks, both SJ and ANA playoff contenders
LA and ANA suck, SJ playoff contenders
LA and SJ suck, ANA playoff contenders
All three playoff contenders
All three suck.

Last year was the first time LA made the playoffs and both San Jose and Anaheim missed. Two years running now.
 
I wanted to do one with Todd Mac saying he would bench Edler and Durzi for last game performance.

Y’all too smart for that.

Feel a little more balanced? Durzi has been such a struggle defensively. Maybe he works more with Gavrikov on the second pair but I would prefer him out. Maybe lingering concussion issues?

I just can’t imagine Field Marshal Toddfather sitting Eder, Walker, and Durzi.

Especially since Spence was reassigned to the Reign and isnt on the Kings roster at the moment... unless I missed an update

McDavid is being moved to the 4th line in an attempt to improve his +14 when it should be much higher, "when your the leading scorer in the league" it shouldn't be that low, he will also not skate across the redline so he won't be out of position he said.
