Gave up 4 goals against AZ.Edmonton gave up another four goals tonight. Nothing changed with the Ekholm move.
I'm hoping the Kings win the conference, not because of who the Kings would play round 1, but because the Kings are just better at home this season. 25-9-4 home vs 18-11-6 road.I know everyone would rather Kings win div and play Winnepeg, but Hella1$ is only goalie in the West that could JQ on us... just one of those be careful what you wish for posts... (also a reverse jinx)

LA just gave up 6 to St. Louis tho.Gave up 4 goals against AZ.

It makes sense in a way. If they finish second or third, either way they play the Kings. The only way their playoff matchup changes is if they catch VGK.I swear, the Oilers broadcast doesn’t know LA exist. All about chasing Vegas.

Their play since the trade has been very impressive. Not exactly a murderer's row of opponents but that Colorado win sticks out as a real nice one. This is true. But since the trade deadline:
Kings - 2.07 GA/60; Oilers 3.62 GA/60. The Oilers have played 2 more games, but they have allowed over double the amount of goals the Kings have.
This hasn't been smoke and mirrors, this team has been absolutely fantastic since the deadline.

They've been dominant to say the least. We can bitch at Todd's lineup choices but he's a wizard at understanding when to move in and out of the 1-3-1. The roster composition right now really fits the systems.
Agreed, just funny hearing comments like the two hottest teams facing each other. One being the Oilers. Is what it is, just makes me laugh. It makes sense in a way. If they finish second or third, either way they play the Kings. The only way their playoff matchup changes is if they catch VGK.
He was poor, definitely the form we were seeing. I don’t enjoy seeing it to be honest but the more I see the better the trade looks. I hope he calls it quits because he’s going to struggle to find a job next season unless something changes dramatically.Another tough night for Quick. Got pulled after the 6th goal. When you give the oilers 3 pp, they tend to score on all of them.

I’m glad he re-signed with the Sabres because their fans deserve it, but damn maybe it was a missed opportunity to nab a former Kings fan #1C.
Oh yeah, I remember. Didn't some fans angrily call him Van Earl Wrong?Former Headline Sports anchor Van Earl Wright finding happiness as a golf caddie

Didn’t know where else to put this, but does anyone remember this guy when he used to be on FSW after the Kings games?
Hate to say it, but judging from how he acted on tv, it’s not really surprising he was big into the nose sugar. Happy that he seems to have found happiness though.
