I have to depart from my very intense dislike of blake and say that he got the right guy and the one i wanted here.
Ever since vladimir konstantinov, i’ve thought the typical russian d man profile was pretty cool

Hey Kings fans. I was curious of who you might be rooting for to win the Bedard sweepstakes. Currently division foes the Sharks are sitting with the greatest chance of drafting him, followed by the Ducks in 4th overall position and the Canucks in 9th position. These positions are fluid. And then of course there is the lottery. Of these 3 teams, who would you most want to win the sweepstakes? And who would you vomit if they won? Picking Bedard would possibly make Stanley Cup runs common in say 3 to 5 seasons with a good GM. As a life long Kings fan (70's on), there is no doubt who I'd not want to get him, and that's the Canucks. As far as drafting him, between the Sharks and Ducks, it's a tough one, but I'd go with the Ducks because there would be more opportunities to see him play. Who would be your picks?
I want Montreal if they have a shot. No real reason. Bring back some glory to a storied franchise I guess. Just keep him out of the pacific please.

Of the 3 ( Van , SJ , Ana ) probably SJ as the other two already have a decent forward prospect pool and are further along a rebuild path. rooting for Columbus as the west has gotten some of the most recent talented young forwards ( Wright , Cooley, Beniers , MacTavish, Eklund , Guenther)

Came here earlier to poke fun of Chychrun getting hurt (out for a couple of weeks) but thought I'd take the high road... now I'm here again and I can't contain myself.

I almost feel pity for the Sharks.

They really did it all. Got reverse swept by one SoCal rival, lost to another SoCal rival in round 1 when they were Presidents trophy winners. They almost got reverse swept another time by Detroit. Took Devin Setoguchi over Anze Kopitar and watched Kopitar become a Hall of Famer and multi cup winner for a rival.

I certainly don’t want them to get Bedard, but I’d rather see him there than Anaheim.

If it’s down to SJ and Anaheim for Bedard, yeah, send him to SJ.

My preferred order is:

Columbus
Montreal
SJ
Anaheim
Chicago

Chicago just had their dynasty with two superstars. They can suck for another few years before another superstar lands in their lap.

Maybe all the raw beef heart and livers caught up with the man.
Sounds more like sitting him opened him up to a groin pull. Phoenix GM stacking the deck to make his draft pick was higher. Lol. Most likely though it’s a nagging injury which is why he was sat.

Like I said, Ekholm or no Ekholm, the Oilers are still a team that needs to outscore their problems. They better pray McDavid doesn’t get hurt.
