What happened in the VGK game? I see both logan thompson and Quick and both did well...someone get hurt?
According to the recap, Thompson left the game with 6:00 left due to injury? Pulled himself out?

"I don't know what happened, to be honest," Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. "He just got up and left. I wish he would've taken his time so 'Quickie' would've had a little more time to warm up, to be honest with you.

"He knows his body; I have no idea. At the end of the day, let's hope it's not related to the previous injury and it's something that will be short term."

Yeah Thompson got hurt making a pretty easy save and immediately skated to the locker room. Quick made a couple of big stops at the end to preserve the win. Thompson officially gets the W though.

Vegas was pretty smart grabbing Quick. Good on him for finding his game. I still think Quickie is off tho. I don’t trust his game this year. Still get him going side to side and over the shoulder.

That said, hope he doesn’t go beast mode.

Yikes, he just returned, too.

I like Thompson a lot. I don't want Vegas to do well, don't get me wrong, but definitely rooting for him AND Quick when it doesn't come at our expense.

Every game they play down the stretch is potentially at our expense...Ive found myself rooting against JQ - such a twisted feeling :) Note to self: change avatar soon.

It wouldn't surprise me that he hurt himself doing that weird skate the bench then jump back in net when he tried to sell the goal mount off the mouring. A few min later he was hurt making a routine save.

Brendan Lemieux is playing over 16 minutes a night for the Flyers and is absolutely flourishing for that team.

Wouldn't be surprised if he turns into a 35+ point player for them.

There’s only one puck, and he was getting his fair share of it in LA with who was ahead of him.

Hey Kings fans. I was curious of who you might be rooting for to win the Bedard sweepstakes. Currently division foes the Sharks are sitting with the greatest chance of drafting him, followed by the Ducks in 4th overall position and the Canucks in 9th position. These positions are fluid. And then of course there is the lottery. Of these 3 teams, who would you most want to win the sweepstakes? And who would you vomit if they won? Picking Bedard would possibly make Stanley Cup runs common in say 3 to 5 seasons with a good GM. As a life long Kings fan (70's on), there is no doubt who I'd not want to get him, and that's the Canucks. As far as drafting him, between the Sharks and Ducks, it's a tough one, but I'd go with the Ducks because there would be more opportunities to see him play. Who would be your picks?

I’d rather it be San Jose than the other two. I hate them the least.

Hoping he ends up in the East, it would not be fun to have the 2 Conner’s in the division.

This could be a scary good draft, Fantilli looks more and more like he could be an Auston Matthews type player and Michkov has kind of gotten lost/forgotten with the whole political situation but he’s a #1OA type guy m in a lot of years.

This is the best top of the draft I can remember in a long time.

Columbus would be ideal but if were talking about in the pacific I would rather have the sharks have him

Go Knights tonight!
I mean Go Oilers!
I mean... I don't really know.

PS if I'd bet (which I don't), I'd put a lot of money on a regulation tie
