He made some good saves. But in the end he got beat clean with high shots twice and the other was just a jam in the front.. none were super soft..a decent outing for him... but the usual < .900. Im pretty sure the board diagnosis that he's washed is correct... if it was mid career Id say he could work his way through it, maybe work with a coach to find out what he needs to adjust... but im calling dunzo.

He got the win so I guess that's all that matters. He's obviously not the starter. He'll start maybe twice more this season?

Uh oh, I am now concerned about Wisconsin going after ASU's Coach Powers.
I get irrationally angry seeing McDavid single handedly carry that average ass team to the playoffs…
I am similar, but mainly because Draisaitl is on the team and he is my least liked player I think in the NHL. He just has that 80's/90's high school bully aura around him that you never thought was real till you witness it. He would slap you and laugh while the teacher wasn't looking but if you turned around to beat his ass he would run away.

Granato is a good assistant coach and by all indications a great person, but he can’t handle being the lead guy, at any level. He had some good talent there but only had that one really good year where Caufield went bonkers and won the Hobey and they won the B10. It’s getting tougher and tougher for them to pull kids out of Minnesota with all the programs up there doing well. It’s still a really good coaching spot with a lot to offer and Madison is an awesome college town, they will get someone good.
They are saying the same about us for sure. Edmonton, Seattle, and Vegas have had their streaks, but it's done little as the Kings have points in 14 out of their last 17. Edmonton in particular was playing really well for a while, now they've leveled off slightly and they have lost ground. They are most annoyed on their board because they absolutely want a divisional spot.

I think if Buffalo loses the next two games (one must be a regulation loss, and the other, any type of loss).....and Boston wins the next two games not via shootout.....Boston will have clinched playoffs by Saturday. That'd be hilarious if everyone was put on LTIR and their entire AHL team got called up lol.
