I watched the game. He played the same as he did here.
Quietly solid while doing his job. Actually had a good amount of touches and heard his name a good bit and none of it was because of mistakes.
That is enough for a dman. Kings won with Scuderi quietly holding it down.
The kings are convinced that every defenseman needs to be Drew Doughty and every forward needs to be Anze Kopitar otherwise they aren’t worth playing. Unless they’re available via trade or free agency. Then they just need to be shiny and popular.

I really shouldn't watch Winnipeg games because it makes me angry. Can't believe the Kings gave up Vilardi (and more) for PLD.

I don't know why you'd get angry. The Kings only traded away a younger player producing at almost double PLD's scoring rate, added to the deal, and signed PLD to a nearly untradeable contract.
Oh, and Winnipeg is actually at the top of the entire league, while the Kings fanbase can reassure themselves with "at least we have center depth now."
Aside from that, what is there to be angry about with the trade?

I think it's a good trade for both teams. Drysdale's still young, but Zellweger is up and coming, and Mintyukov is already having a great rookie season. Philadelphia's got a few good forwards but are weak at D.
Drysdale is a right shot D, the other two are left shot D.
Assuming Anaheim will move a LHD to RHD.

Apparently he made it very clear he wasn't signing in Philly, so they have had discussions about moving him for a while. Him ghosting Plyers management at the world juniors appears to have been the last straw.
