Cam Neely is one of the most over romanticized players of all time.
And, I'll add, the personal property of Mr. Samuelsson.
Heard the same episode. AND they elected to let Erik Gustafsson walk to pay Klingberg more for a worse output.I always felt Durzi could be a 50pts+ Dman, but he needed to be put in the right situation. That was never going to happen here.
On a Leafs-centric podcast I listen to, they were lamenting the fact they paid Klingberg 4M, instead of giving up a 2nd for Durzi.
@Johnny Utah why didn’t you tell us you were the GM of the Red Wings in 1983?

really...Vancouver is being talked about a lot on the Radio here.Nobody talking about VAN? They won again and are now tied with VGK for first place in the Pacific and 1st in the WC. Wow...
What's there to talk about? They're playing really well. I think people are waiting for their stats to even out and see where they really stand. They won last night, but it was a nail biter and they didn't have a lead until they won in OT.Nobody talking about VAN? They won again and are now tied with VGK for first place in the Pacific and 1st in the WC. Wow...
After all this time it astounds me that people have such unrealistic trade expectations.
I wouldn't trade Clarke for any of them, one-for-one, and most of the other teams would rightfully balk, too.

And Drew ended up going to therapy for it. He has simmered down a lot from his younger days.We have Drew Doughty and Kevin Fiala on this team ye know.

The most difficult thing about getting returns on guys like that is the market is good teams looking to try and get over the top. It's hard to get cost controlled young talent back because they need them to stay under the cap going forward. So yeah you'll get a first, but it will likely be a late first (unless a team holds picks from previous trades).
Salary in = Salary out in most trades nowadays.
A great draft completely undone by picking wimpy Yzerman first.Nah, way too many Pusey's drafted for Johnny's liking.
The main board has turned into a Vancouver board.
I had the Vancouver - NYI game on in the break room at work last night. Co-worker walked in (not a hockey guy at all) and said "I heard the Canucks are actually good this year?"The main board has turned into a Vancouver board.
The Stutzle goal was amazing, I remember when Gretzky had a similar one for the Kings way back in the day. He is one of those guys that just has that special "it" to their game. You just knew right away, just like with Kopi.
Happy the people in Europe got an exciting game.
Wait until Hughes falls back to earth. The main board has turned into a Vancouver board.

Hughes for Hart

Come on Herby, come clean. You love these midgets because you yourself are vertically challenged? There’s no other explanation.
