Doesn't sound like you've given up. lol
It’s comical to say the least. Same people who incessantly whine about no longer having x-player, y-player, etc…would be the same ones screaming at Blake to make a move, to be bold, to not hoard so many players, picks, etc. The never ending cycle.

…because you brought him up?
Yeah exactly.

It's like when Axl wants everyone to stop talking about Stutzle, but then he himself replies to a QB hype video with "But Stutzle"

I think everyone realizes how good Cernak is and so it fades a bit into the distance. The same will be true of Stutzle, eventually you just accept that a huge mistake was made and people forget about it. But it's not unreasonable to discuss things like Cernak, Stutzle, Zegras, etc. But eventually it naturally fades.

I'll never get over the loss.

Just shitposting. There's no real discussions going on here.
The best kind of discussing.

The issue is when you and others categorize things like the Byfield and Turcotte picks as ‘mistakes’. It’s just ignorant-speak.

Did you think either of those were mistakes when they were picked? Bet I can pull some past posts to say you didn’t.

What else is there to say? He’s averaged 19:00 per game for the past six years as a top four stalwart on one of the best teams in the league. There’s only so much you can say before you give up and realize how much Lombardi and crew f***ed up. Yannetti admitted it too. Cernak had 200 hits and 100 blocks last year. Wish we had that on our team. Wish we had Faber too.
Didnt TB want either Cernak or Roy and the Kings chose to send Cernak? So if you want to net it out, its the difference between Roy and Cernak.

And shouldn’t you pump the brakes on the ‘Byfield is a bust’ campaign? Have you been watching? Looks like he’s gonna make you look real dumb sooner than later. I can’t wait….

I wasn't aware that PLD is a bust, because that is who I have been comparing him to for quite a while, is that insulting to QB?

And once again, you just think "mistake" and "bust" are the same thing, it's like you aren't able to comprehend that they aren't always the same thing.

A second overall pick can bust and still be a pretty good player. It’s just that many of us, myself included, haven’t seen from Byfield the makings of a franchise-altering, game-breaking talent. That’s what I really was hoping we’d get at second overall. Sam Reinhart, Ryan Murray, James van Riemsdyk, and Jordan Staal, are all examples in the past decade or so of second overall “busts” to varying degrees who still had pretty good careers. What we really wanted was a Malkin, Eichel, Doughty, or Hedman.

Do you think the NYR org was expecting 'game-breaking' talent with their #1 pick in 2020? Can you show me one legitimate pick projection that didn't have Alex Lafreniere as the #1 pick? So, you are telling me that the NYR org made a mistake?
