Congrats to Kopi on the Lady Byng!

There's not a guy who seems more revered around the league right now. Maybe Bergeron. But he has that Nik Lidstrom 'legend' air around him, so many players like him and smile around him, he's all class, and that's not easy to do when you play hard and physical in hard minutes.

...all that being said, it's hard for me to get up for the 'biggest p***y' award with how soft this team is :laugh:

Pretty sure he won a Selke since then.

It is definitely fitting, however, that the captain of the LA Kings takes home the biggest p***y while being a good player award. No way in hell an LA King isn't winning that damn trophy this past season.
 
A lot of Bruins fans not happy with the Hall trade. He was pretty good for them apparently.

Even a good forward has no trade value if you need your trade partner to take on the full cap hit without sending any salary back.

I assume Chicago will look to move Hall at the deadline when his prorated cap hit is only 2M. He should have some value then.

I bet we could get Ullmark for cheap if we actually had the cap space. Too bad we don't.

As unrealistic as it sounds, I still think Doughty should to to LTIR. I'm completely fine with cheating.

I get the frustration - I just think there are others (not directed at you) who still would use this as a character flaw against Kopitar instead of being cognizant of their feelings like you are.

Its not a character flaw - its that someone with that type of personality isn't going to be a successful leader. He's the more than capable lieutenant who will do his job extremely well while standing next to you, but you just can't win with a cooler in charge.
