Long lay-off really messed up Florida’s mo-jo momentum. Really so lame they finals series took this long to get started.

I watched the first period of game 1 and I think that was it for me. Kind of don't care (that much) if the Knights win, but I don't want to watch it happen.

The intensity of these playoff games is a reminder that the Kings are not built for this type of hockey.
Yup. I think it’s funny some people wanted to play Vegas rather than Oilers.

Vegas is everything the Kings aren’t.

Goodnight, Radko.

You're a big, dumb animal and need to receive a dose of your own medicine once in a while.

The Kings are so far from being a tough resilient team. This is really sobering for anyone who thinks the Kings are close..

:eek3: Eichel toe-picks just as he sees Tkachuk.

Edit: Another few angles of Eichel grimacing as he managed to skate to the bench.

Big strapping bodies still win playoff games. Vegas is a big team. Even skill teams like Tampa pay a premium every trade deadline to beef up. If I'm not mistaken Vegas is not suiting up a single player below 6'0 outside of Marchessault and just two more under 6'1 in Stephenson and Karlsson. Alec Martinez is actually their smallest defenseman yet he would be considered big on the present Kings blueline. Wish Bluc would beef up, but that can be awkward if you got the job on the premise that Lombardi/Sutter hockey was antiquated.

ya

Imagine one of the unemotional gentlemen on the Kings lining up to absolutely destroy the other teams best player like that on the big stage.
Imagine one of the Kings most important players getting concussed on a blatant boarding penalty late in the season against a team they were most likely going to meet in the playoffs. Then imagine the Kings not doing anything about it.

Just a pathetic culture that Bluc are on the hook for. This team can put up all the 100 point seasons it wants but they aren't winning a damn thing until they get some killers out there.

Bad luck for Eichel tripping before the hit (and good news is that he's back on the bench). Would've been a huge hit either way but exacerbated by the fall.

Florida is done for this series if they can't step up on D. Hill has played lights out but that offense can find a way. If you don't put in much effort on defense (goals 2-4) you're not winning.

Edit: another goal against due to poor defense and abandoning the middle

This is so depressing. Such a good team in Vegas. I know the Kings aren’t contenders so it’s not fair to compare, but man, the Kings are so far.
