What happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas....unless it's on National TV!

She was not shocked, offended, or flinched....so must have had a pre game plan that if they
got on camera, this was going down, lol Especially since they are looking at the camera and no one else is.

If I was Dubas, I would not have taken the Pittsburgh job.

He'll basically be presiding over the fall of the Roman Empire. No where to go but down.

Crosby & Letang will be 36. Malkin 37. Empty prospect pool.
FSG based on historical precedent will only have fired him with a detailed plan in place (right or wrong) both their own plan that anyone in that role needs to fit, plus Dubas would need a plan that fitted that wider philosophy/approach.

As long as he’s been realistic about time scales he will be given a lot of rope and time to deliver. As long as they see things trending in the correct direction he will be fine. I felt that Dubas was perfect for FSG (Pittsburgh) from the moment he was available and that FSG fit will be what got him the job.

I will be cool with Vegas winning it all. The Kings need a reality check that their division isn’t filled with idiots like they seem to think.

Lol at the ppl clamoring for dubas, look at the core he inherited and his success one measley playoff round victory not to mention leaving the future gm a barren prospect pool and nearly no assets to boot

Who is clamoring for dubas?

If Blake and Luc were gone, I'm sure no one around here would be complaining about their replacements.

No one would be complaining about Blake and Luc if LA had won a single playoff series in the past six years.

You can play the wizened contrarian role all you want, but sports are a results driven business. Blake replaced the most successful executive in Kings history, and his teams just haven’t accomplished anything.

Apply some of that social intelligence here, John. I believe in you.

6 years later into the Blake GM era and they have no playoff series wins, no cap space and a bottom half prospect pool ranking (& dropping fast). They don't even have a 1st round pick this year. Even the rankings of 25 & under (or 23 if you want) NHL talent rankings, they are middle at best.

When you take a step back and think about that, I am not sure how you can argue in support of Blake doing a good job. At least a few years ago we had a top prospect pool ranking. Now what we do have? It's almost impossible to do what's he has done really. He's got us in the black hole of everything. I guess that's kind of impressive in a depressing way.

Nic Hague having himself quite a postseason on the Knights. I would love to pry him away from Vegas. Big and nasty LHD. He and Whitecloud are dominating at +/-.

I would argue that you are being extremely dramatic. But you know that...

What is "extremely dramatic" in what i said? I think what i said was fairly represented and factual. Maybe you know something that i am unaware of regarding the current state of the franchise, rankings, cap space, etc. Please do tell.

I'm not going to entertain the dramatics even though I secretly enjoy it ... but the line of 'He's got us in the black hole of everything' is just flat out ignorant.

Chris Chelios was let go too in the Disney/ESPN layoffs. Will be interesting to see who they retain from the broadcast team.

I agree with this. I’m confused at the Kings fan who would prefer to see Tkachuk raise the cup instead Quick and Martinez (and to a lesser extent McNabb and Amadio. Sorry Hutton, you didn’t make the cut!)

I wish he had us in the black hole. Means they would have like the 11OA pick in this year's draft, although Blake would be the one making the pick so maybe it doesn't matter.

I'm perfectly fine with seeing Quick and Martinez lift the Cup twice as Kings and never as a Golden Knight.

More so is that there are definitely Panther die hard fans that have put up with being mostly irrelevant for 30 years or whatever. As Kings fans, we should all relate to that v. a six year old, division-rival franchise that goes to the SCF every three seasons and is in the WCF even more.

Quick must be into voodoo or something. He conjuring up the spirit of 2012 Quick and giving that energy to Hill.

Vegas is rolling.

It's looking like Quick and Marty are about to become 3 time Stanley Cup Champions.
