Game 5 when we were down 6-3 and had that 1-3-1 going on should tell you. Todd is stubborn and has his style of system which is unflexible. It will keep more games competitive but at the cost of developing explosive plays on the fly. Plus, most coaches just want to have a long term contract in the league. So we see a lot of this boring, plotting hockey during the regular season but coaches adapt during the playoffs.

Won't change until coach leaves.
It’s a loser mentality that tells the players “we’re not as good as them so let’s hope for the best”. It’s what Terry Murray did as well.

NJ is not winning this series. They look so overmatched. None of NJ scores can find any space and it's like a 1 and done every shift. Staal walks in and makes it 3-0.

edit; and its 4-0

edit: 6-1

We just need him to blurt out that the Kings lost due to a "choking situation" so his fate is sealed.

Carolina is manhandling New Jersey. They are playing like a team determined to win in the postseason.
And missing some key guys... fairly impressive. I saw their lineup card, and saw some bottom 6ers up on the 2nd and 1st line. How the hell are they doing it?

Their offer sheet players have shown up to play. For some reason I thought Aho spent a year in Montreal before re-signing with the Canes lol.

Im going w FLA - they dont have to face TB their nemesis - and they have a couple of criminals which is what DL says is the secret sauce.. like Chick-fil-a

We have TJ Tynan at home.
You were supposed to say
“We have Kyle Clifford at home”

I guess its not politically correct for the talking heads to say that the small, quick new nhl team (new jersey) is getting the crap kicked out of them physically by a bigger, tougher canes team

Carolina is generally on the smaller side league-wide.

New Jersey
Avg Height: 6'2" / 187.08 cm (7th)
Avg Weight: 197 lbs / 89.19 kg (24th)
Combined Avg Rank: 16th OA

Carolina
Avg Height: 6'1" / 186.34 cm (14th)
Avg Weight: 198 lbs / 89.69 kg (20th)
Combined Avg Rank: 17th OA

They're about the same, but NJ is slightly bigger.
