Wow! What disrespect. Why did Vegas bring Quick in then. He is basically third string.Quick isn’t even dressing. I really thought Vegas might be able to kill a penalty. Guess not.

To piss off LA's fansWow! What disrespect. Why did Vegas bring Quick in then.
Called that the minute it went down. He was a stop gap for injured players. Said he wouldn’t get a sniff when goalies got healthy.Wow! What disrespect. Why did Vegas bring Quick in then. He is basically third string.
I mean pretty much this, ya. The only team that looks good in all this is Lumbus. To piss off LA's fans
Black hole Blake certainly does not.. Lumbus did come out well didnt they, a 1st from LAK... got half of jq prorated salary back from VGK for guys they werent going to signI mean pretty much this, ya. The only team that looks good in all this is Lumbus.
Doesn’t seem to be working out for Vegas.Kings don’t have a Hague or Kolesar who are making Kane accountable. Or even a Carrier.
Vegas has won a series in the last five years. Maybe having p***yes on the Kings isn’t working out for the Kings.Doesn’t seem to be working out for Vegas.
Not from punching people.Vegas has won a series in the last five years. Maybe having p***yes on the Kings isn’t working out for the Kings.
Yeah from playing a physical game. Unless you think the Kings played physical enough that you didn’t understand my point in the first place. Not from punching people.
Apparently there’s a couple people who can’t understand that simple fact. Its a universal principal that deterrence is an important aspect of peace... its a fact that if your team doesnt stand up occasionally and pay someone back that took liberties, the perp will do it again and again. The Kings dont stand up enough. Can we agree here thats a fact? or are we going to keep talking past each other.
Violence begets more violence. "Enforcing" increases the amount of cheapshots and liberties. Its a universal principal that deterrence is an important aspect of peace... its a fact that if your team doesnt stand up occasionally and pay someone back that took liberties, the perp will do it again and again. And isnt the NHL still trying to ban fighting all together?Violence begets more violence. "Enforcing" increases the amount of cheapshots and liberties.
Thats just the other side of the argument... there's a balance to be struck... if you're too aggressive you get penalized too much.. If you too passive, 1) your team pride suffers, 2) chances increase guys get hurt. Why did 99 have curve stick as his body guard?Violence begets more violence. "Enforcing" increases the amount of cheapshots and liberties.
There's been actual studies on this.Thats just the other side of the argument... there's a balance to be struck... if you're too aggressive you get penalized too much.. If you too passive, 1) your team pride suffers, 2) chances increase guys get hurt. Why did 99 have curve stick as his body guard?
Lets go with the socratic method to maybe get to the bottom of this: do you agree with the maxim: stand up to a bully and he will leave you alone ? and do you think Gretzky career length is the same with or without McSorely? (second one total conjecture but want your opinion)There's been actual studies on this.
Fighting doesn't prevent injuries or make anyone safer.
All geopolitics is based on this concept...the animal kingdom works this way.. Playgrounds work this way. The cold war was based on mutually assured destruction - if one side didnt have nukes (deterrence) they would be dominated.Deterrence begets peace is a caveman's understanding of the world. Maybe in some circumstances it is true but a "universal principle" it is not
Vegas is in trouble if their PK winds up being as bad as ours was.
Have to think Edmonton eventually runs into a team who can PK and their run is over.
Again this fact impugns the Koala not getting the PK up to snuff all season and esp since the team would most likely rematch against the best PP in the NHL (by a mile)Vegas is in trouble if their PK winds up being as bad as ours was.
