I'd like to know how they killed 11 of 13 pp in the regular season against them, including going 6/6 in one game , then went 4/13 in the playoffs. What changed?
Thats a damn good question. The same system looks to be in place - not sure about the personnel.
In the history of NHL, teams who’ve taken a 3-0 lead in a best of 7 series hold an all-time series record of 199-4.
Considering all the praise Bergeron gets, it's interesting he's been part of some of the biggest choke jobs in NHL history.
Had it not been for 2011, that Bruins core would basically be considered Sharks East.
Ehh. It was pretty important at the time too, no?Crazy how important that Nathan Horton goal has turned out in hindsight.

If the Oilers win the cup there will immediately be a post on the main boards "With how much the refs were against them are the 2023 Oilers the best hockey team to ever touch the ice?"Just think of their obnoxious, entitled fanbase. That should help.
The Kraken are for real. 4 lines rolling all on the same page and real good goaltending.Seattle ain't f***ing around. Love it.
Nice way to start this game.
You’re ruining my enjoyment of the Leafs failures by reminding me of the Kings failures.NJ went with Luke with their backs against the wall and he played very well. He’s probably in for good now.
Of course this never would have happened in LA. Hughes would have been assigned to the Reign and not getting a chance over Walker, Edler and Durzi, and even if there had been injuries he would have been behind guys like Moverare and Bjornfot, that is how the Kings operate.
It’s just unbelievable that a team that did what the Kings have done the last 12 months with trading future pieces to win now was worried about an ELC expiring multiple years down the road.
Maybe when Blakey, Muzz and Nelly talk with Pravda over the summer someone can ask them if they still believe only generational players don’t need AHL time. But I’m not holding my breath.
