Carolina is generally on the smaller side league-wide.

New Jersey
Avg Height: 6'2" / 187.08 cm (7th)
Avg Weight: 197 lbs / 89.19 kg (24th)
Combined Avg Rank: 16th OA

Carolina
Avg Height: 6'1" / 186.34 cm (14th)
Avg Weight: 198 lbs / 89.69 kg (20th)
Combined Avg Rank: 17th OA

They're about the same, but NJ is slightly bigger.
Imo as a non statistician, canes play bigger.
Yet another subjective observation.

Luke Hughes in for Game 3.

It will make NJ considerably faster, which I think has been the biggest weakness so far, Carolina is just skating circles around them.

2 NHL games, 0 AHL games and thrown into the fire with the season on the line.

There was a time when Gallant was hot shit. He knows how to coach! Then he didn't win, and now he's just the next guy in the coaching carousel.

2 power play goals for Edmonton in the 1st period.

Oilers are now 4 of 5 on the PowerPlay in the series. Insanity.

Edmonton has a tendency to fade during games. I wouldn't count Vegas out just yet.
