It's one game. Off for 6 days, while the Jets are riding emotions from game 7. Similar to game 1 in the Tampa vs Boston series.

yup thought Vegas showed some flashes, but Winnipeg was the better team. hoping that this series will still be competitive.

Even though Jets didn’t play that well, still they were able to push Vegas to sides, push them into the boards and take their speed away. Many turnovers by Vegas, but they probably had too much rest. I expect game 2 be a battle.

Don't think much of Winnipeg's PL#29. A great wrist shot and that's about it, very average in just about every other aspect of his hockey skills.

He is an elite player. He is one of the best young talents in the league but is fortunate to have 4-5 better players then him in wheeler, schiefele, buff, trouba . He is in a amazing situation to succeed. Jets fans are obviously happy with him and leaf fans with Matthews. No reason to hate on Laine just b/c ge is playing well great right now.

The two semifinals started in somewhat boring fashion, hoping for a much more competitive game tonight. Wouldn't mind seeing WSH knock off TB though.

Outside of his shot there really isn't much about his game that meet's the eye. Very nice weapon on the PP though. He requires other players to open up space for him to do his thing.
