Wait what? LTIR for a broken finger? Maybe Leafs finally recognizing that ROR had a major broken spirit injury this season that started in TC.

Aside from ROR crazy game against Buffalo he hasn't been anything this season and hadn't been in last 5 games. hands up those that even noticed him against Edmonton. Tavares also out.

ROR needs to be on the right kind of meat and potatoes team to play a part. This ain't gonna be the case for these Leafs Nordstrom shoppers.

They're a good team for a(nother) band of castoffs. No wonder Gary wants two more new franchises instead of relocates.

You know, Nashville could actually pass the Avs for the last WC spot, despite the Avs having a week's worth of games in hand. That just means they have more back to backs coming up.

Colorado's schedule for the rest of March sucks. 3 B2Bs and the next time they have two off days is the end of the month. That's a recipe for losses and injuries and they're already dealing with injuries.

It's so damn frustrating that we would be in first place by some margin had Jack Campbell not been a joke and had the team chose to show up against 4/5 opponents deep in the standings that we lost to.

To be honest the Campbell thing is what it is (likely around 8-10 points pissed into the wind because of his goaltending alone), but it's the no showing against shitty teams that is really grating.

The Oilers should have 82-84 points right now with even average goaltending from Campbell. Not to pile on the guy but he really has been brutal for a lot of the season. He has only lost one game this year with a sv% over .910. So its not like th team has been letting him down offensively. He has 12 games under .875. That's pretty shocking for a guy who is suppose to be your starter.

Its disappointing with the Oilers for all the goals they score, have such problems trying to come back in the third and tie up games. Maybe it happens more than I think, but doesn't seem to happen very often.

Meanwhile when LA, Seattle and Vegas are down in the third, they find ways to get it to OT more times than not.

Could be worse though, the Flames are 0-15-3 or something when trailing in the 3rd. Even more loser points from that and they’d be in a playoff spot at the moment or at least striking distance.

But yeah, definitely disappointing that Campb… I mean the Oilers have pissed away so many points

Does Dallas always have so many empty seats? Or did people leave for the intermission already?

It's a big night for the out of town scoreboard. So far so good but Dallas has to get off it's butt. Although are the Flames out of it enough that we'd prefer they win so we could at least secure home ice vs Stars if it came to it?
