Anaheim completes the comeback. All 3 ducks goals came from their dman and they won in regulation. Jusse Saros likes to f*** me over to it seems.

Blues win 5-0 against Bolts. Seems Jordan Kyrou has woken up.

Some of the better goalies in the league are having a bad to mediocre season so far

Sorokin just a 907 save%
Saros 892 save%
Hellebuyck 894 save%
Shesterkin even with Rangers being hot just 913

Ducks have been impressive. I wouldn't have guessed they'd have a better record after 15 games than the other young teams like Ottawa/Buffalo. Terry always seems to get underrated and McTavish looks legit. I'm sure it won't last and there still a year or two away but you gotta be excited if your a Ducks fan.

Zegras obviously has sky high offensive potential but with Carlsson/McTavish would make a ton of sense for them to cash in on a big return. They've rebuilt really well. Tons of young talent at forward with Mintyukov/Drysdale on the backend.

Seems like we probably won’t catch Dallas with the way things are looking.

Sounds like our good old friend Duchene is playing pretty good (also seems like he’s playing center again)

Drysdale can stay healthy thats a solid d group. Minty is the one. Thats the guy thats going to carry that d group. Carlsson and McTavish are a great 1-2 down the middle and im a Dostal believer even though @dahrougem2 dont like. Good things happening in Anaheim.

All the older depth for Dallas is playing well/not being dead weight. I know they aren't the core or the best players on the team anymore but nobody's falling of a cliff. Same with L.A. Kopitar has been better than PLD. Everything's working out for them.

Meanwhile RyJo has no interest in a bounce back season and seems content to continue regressing lol

Ohhhhh Buffalo. Doesn't help they're in the toughest division in hockey, they still can't defend worth a damn, and now their best forward is out.

I always had a soft spot for Mcilrath since he was a prospect. needless to say, but things didnt really click with him and he turned into just a fringe NHLer. that said, I still like him and would love to see him on the Avs. (he would be better than arguably two of our current Ds :P) just watch this beauty he served in the Caps win over Vegas.

he handled Kolesar like he was some random preschooler lol he may not be a very good hockey player but he is such a BAMF

Yah. Tomorrow game is a pick'em. If Avs played the way they did the last 35 minutes of last game tomorrow they should be ok but if they start the same way they did last night the Ducks are going to jump out to a 3-0 lead. They aint f***in around this season Cronin also a great coach and knows all about the Avs system.
Avs should win this one. Anaheim played tonight. Had to rally and win in the 3rd. Then travel to Colorado. So Avs get them on 2nd half of B2B, at altitude. Likely get Dostal, and not Gibson.

I wonder if this will affect Patty Kane's decision?
Who cares? He wont come to Denver. Never considered to do.

I never bought that bullshit about "playing for a contender" either.

Kane would be nice and lethal on a line with Mac und Rants. But we are in need of a real 2C, maybe some depth and maybe some help on D, 3r D pairing.

One of Manson or Girard will have to go THIS season. There is no other way.

If Anaheim throws Zegras in the play and we can make a deal around Byram... I would really think hard about that one. Either way, on D-Man has to go. There is no other choice.

Johnny Gaudreau on pace for 31 points this season.

He's being outproduced by the likes of Ivan Provorov, Jack Roslovic, Justin Danforth, Erik Gudbranson, and Dmitri Voronkov.

Fantastic value the Jackets are getting out of him.

The jackets should try to parlay this and say this just means Columbus is such an awesome place to live that Johnny isn't focused on hockey

Shocker that a 30 year old player is regressing and a team isn't getting full value. :sarcasm:

Maybe we will have shades of the 1 point Kadri threads before he ripped off 8 in 7 games.
