If he doesn’t win on total numbers have to think Stewart with 30 in 36 on the Avs then something like 23 in 26 with the Blues has to be right up there in p/g anywaysIt’s gotta be Mittelstadt
As far as traded away, I have no clue
I think Mueller is tops if you go with only scoring for the Avs. He had 20 points in 15 games as far as players traded forIf he doesn’t win on total numbers have to think Stewart with 30 in 36 on the Avs then something like 23 in 26 with the Blues has to be right up there in p/g anyways
Edit: I forgot we traded Mr Shootout in season. He has to be the winner
Flash was also wildly productive in his short time with the Avs but not quite that p/g ratioI think Mueller is tops if you go with only scoring for the Avs. He had 20 points in 15 games as far as players traded for
Can't say I know much about Smith but I know enough about Meruelo that not having him anymore is a substantial addition by substraction.Weird how this is filtering out like this, but Smith will be a revelation for the NHL. The league needs an owner like him. It won’t be easy as one of the smaller markets with a reputation, but the league is better after this by a good margin.
Well since SLC should bring more revenue to the league than AZ then yes, it will help the cap. This will surely help the cap? Right?????

What I'm wondering is: who will be the first enterprising GM to put his own rentals on LTIR before the deadline to raise the price for the teams bidding for him?Personally I think that was to save face publicly. The NHL doesn't care about LTIR.
Honestly, next season teams that are rebuilding should start convincing contending teams to put their vets on LTIR near the TDL and acquire their better players. It'll speed up rebuilds, create insane playoff rosters and level the playing field.

Believe me when I tell you the NHL does not give a f***.I highly doubt the NHL wants its stars to sit healthy on LTIR for 25% of the season.
Define NHL… owners, Daly/Bettman, Front offices?Believe me when I tell you the NHL does not give a f***.
Daly/Bettman.Define NHL… owners, Daly/Bettman, Front offices?
I’d say owners care less than Daly/Bettman. The only part of the NHL that cares is front offices and the amount they care is more about their specific team and competing. Owners and Daly/Bettman just care than the revenues are up and players don’t get more than 50% (soon to be pushing for 47%).Daly/Bettman.
Owners might care because stars out could lose them money. Front offices obviously due to higher chance of losing.
Bettman/Daly don't give a f***. They won't check into LTIR to ensure injuries are legit or care if players get put there when a team wants to use their cap space.
Hope they have a name, logo and jersey ready for the draft. That'd be nice...especially since they will be drafting in the top 5ish, with a legit possibility of winning the lottery.
SLC will inherit decent young players and prospects...and since they'll be willing to spend money that team will no longer be a joke and a cemetary for players on LTIR.
That's really going to sting for Yote fans though.![]()
Just wait until the Jets move to Phoenix.Watch them join the Devils as a team that took 2 relocations (KC Scouts to Rockies) before winning the Cup. Everyone else (with this news) has either folded, moved once and won (Avs/Flames/Canes/Stars) or is the Jets
This is just cruel but I’m 100% here for it. I don’t know why I have just always hated them right back to the big Buff/Ladd days.Just wait until the Jets move to Phoenix.
