I don't blame him for wanting more money...he made over 9M since the cup run.

Should have accepted the trade to Anaheim but it's still hard to blame him there. He tried to pull a Tarasenko by signing one year in Buffalo but instead of being traded to a real contender like Florida he got traded to Philly. That sucks.

I respect the hell out of Crosby and i like this guy a lot, but he made his bed.

And staying a Pen for Life will have this ending.

He can ask for a trade anytime and decide where to play. Up to him if he wants to ride it out and play meaningless games or not.

Too late for that. They're f***ed. Good luck getting anyone to take on Letang, Malkin, Karlsson, Rakell, and Graves contracts. They'd have to retain 50% on all of those, and they are all over 3 years, some many years longer.

They need a miracle to happen. Like trade Crosby to the Avs for a huge haul, and have Malkin, Letang, and Karlsson all find LTIR or retire, and find some sucker to take Rakell and Graves for 50% retention. Then sign multiple good UFAs and hit on mutiple draft picks.

They are going to be a bad team for years.

Like I said back in October - kyle dumbass is a hockey moron.

I understand that the owners wanted to go for it but trading for ek and adding graves was idiotic. He bought into ek's numbers from last year but didn't even bother to actually watch him play. He could have added Barrie instead and saved a ton of cap space and brought in more depth. He would have only had Barrie on the books for this season.

But he could have don't what so few have. Gone out on top. He would've been a instant legend in Colorado. He probably still will be, but with less sheen now.

He also could have jumped right on to Altitude. We could have broadcasts from Johnny's wine cave and EJ's horse stables!

I'll give you the Graves signing, but it's been a collective effort there to screw themselves. I think he was all but forced, by ownership, to get EK, and Hextall screwed them by signing Malkin and Letang, and Rakell to a horrible deals.

That Guentzel trade wasn't good either, and then they don't trade Rust or Carter or anyone else to get picks or prospects.
