Jets are just running a hot streak. I just don’t see that team doing much in the playoffs. They are one of those regular season teams. Also with all the supposedly good young talent on the Ducks, is their leading scorer Frank Vatrano? What happened to Zegras or McTavish? I thought they were supposed to lead that team

Y’know the really funny thing about Winnipeg’s hot streak? They might be a better team without Kyle Connor, at least if you discount special teams.

Connor is an elite finisher but he’s legit one of the five worst defensive players in the league. For all his consistency in production, he gets outscored at even strength every year.

That’s not to say they should ditch his ass as soon as he’s healthy but they’re able to gameplan better and defend leads without him. So long as Vilardi stays relatively hot they’re in really good shape in securing a top three seed.

Throwing out a hypothetical… what if they get Lindholm and Tanev is a trade?

IMO they do that and they are as deep as LA but with an elite goalie… that team would move to top 2 or 3 roster in the league. Arguably top.

They’d be good but I’d still take Vegas and Avs over them in the west but only if the Avs fix their 2C issue

From what I saw he squeezed through the two Devils players and didn’t see Smith back there, he was careless for a moment but that was long enough.

I think it’s just learning when not to be so dogged in pursuing the puck, a hard lesson to learn but he’ll be smarter about it when he’s back.

At least it wasn’t a cheap shot that took him out like McDavid. Still can’t believe that f***ing moron Chiarelli actually went out and put that slimeball on the same roster years later. Pretty sure that was what finally got him fired.
