Suffered from one myself and it was such an innocent play too, I was out of action for at least two to three months. Woll will probably come back sooner since he gets top-of-the-line care, but still a very long injury. Severity is important, but saying it is week to week is disingenuous. He's definitely gone for a month and probably more.
 
You guys think Georgiev allows softies, just watch Dallas and Oettinger, you’ll feel better about Georgiev. That dude allows some real softies, and every year he’s supposed to win the Vezina based on some people covering the NHL.

Oettinger is like Toews. Both living off reputation. At one point they were really good and thats all people remember them for. Oettinger is a good goalie but people talk like hes all world all the time and I never get that impression when watching him. He had that crazy good game 7 or whatever against the Flames that one year and thats what people remember most.

Speaking of goalies. Is there even an elite goalie these days? Im talking a dominant goalie like Roy, Hasek and Belfour were in their era. Vasi was that guy for 5 yrs but I dont know if I would give him elite status today.

Yeah but no one is giving Toews the Norris every year like they’re giving the Vezina to Oettinger. Toews is just having a little bit of down year defensively, but Oettinger is just flat out overrated.

And to answer your question, I don’t think so. There are no true elite goalies today like there were with Roy, Hasek, Brodeur

He's getting suspended big time or should be. Crosscheque to the head to the wrong player which you said had no part of it. Joseph had a butt-end crosscheque to the back of Larkin's head, but it seems #27 also put force against Larkin. That has some to be one of the weirdest plays I've ever seen in my life.
