Who is going to tell them?

Reading through the Oilers board... woof.

The fans are seriously hoping Pickard gets the bulk of the starts moving forward in order to try saving their season

Who is going to tell them?
Perhaps they know that Pickard was one of the reasons we got Makar?

In what way exactly? I haven't followed closely enough to know what current stance is.

Just read the tweet above. Basically the NHL has banned all players from wearing any themed gear for theme nights. Even in warm-ups. And now they're going so far as to fine teams specifically if a player chooses to defy the "rules" and wear something anyways.

Because of last year's backslash around players refusing to wear the LBGT jerseys the league decided there would be no more "theme nights". In principle, that means no more controversy or locker room dividers.

They could have singled out the LGBT stuff but that would make them look pretty bad so they banned everything.

But... the Wild are having a theme night. With jerseys.

Chicago with possibly another sex scandal? Reward them with Celebrini.

I kinda hope Perry did peg one of the moms. Seth Jones mom perhaps.
What if the moms wore official Detroit Red Wings branded strap ons from the Fanatics store and took turns passing Perry around? Consensually.

Getting plowed by an rival original 6 team branded strap on is a bad look in the locker room.

Getting plowed by moms cancels out the rival branding. Right? Right.

Basically, the NHL allowed chuds to define these theme nights (Pride, Native heritage, Latino history, women's history, black history, cancer research, holiday celebrations, etc) as "political" and are therefore punishing anyone who tries to celebrate these causes on the ice. This is because last year all the guys who opted out of Pride night were called bigots and embarrassed the league. So the league decided nobody is allowed to have any fun so that nobody hurts the feelings of bigots.
