The Knights/Stars game went to overtime? Who here bet their life savings on that outcome for the easy money?

Stars-Knights going to OT?

The Oilers choosing to expose Skinner's weaknesses has certainly been a choice. I keep seeing people blame him for putting the Oilers down by so much which is odd because none of those goals are close to his fault. I don't think I've ever seen a team so dedicated to ensuring their goalie sees an average volume workload that's just filled with their goalies kryptonite. You can yell at Skinner and Dustin Schwartz all you want, it's not going to turn Skinner into Vasilevskiy facing down rush chances. In order for Skinner to succeed you need to force the game to be played on the cycle and be good at clearing rebounds. The Oilers downright AHL defensive play is exposing the hockey communities overall goalie illiteracy. Goaltending and defensive play is so much closer together than it ever has been.

Taylor Hall won the Hart not that long ago and got traded to Arizona. He met with the owner there, who personally offered him a new contract: 9M per for 8 years.

He turned it down, hoping he'd get more on the market.

But then...he started declining FAST, the market dried up and he ended up signing only one year in Buffalo for 8M.

After that, Boston offered him 6M X 4...and traded his ass to a bottom team after year 2.

He may or may not get another contract after that...but he lost A TON of money (possibly 40M) because of a bad gamble on himself, just like Klingberg.

I will never stop being irritated with that man for not f***ing over Dallas by signing that contract and then declining like this. Annoying
