Not sure what the issue is here to be honest as long as it was consensual (although this is always an asterisk with the Blackhawks organization, I guess). Moms need love too.

I mean, sure, that's fine for Perry and the mom. But what about the son? Would you want someone who railed your mom during a road trip to be in the locker room? At best that is an extremely awkward distraction.

Of course, this is all just completely unfounded gossip at this point, but it's fun to speculate.

I understand some younger players there had serious issues with him. Don’t know if hazing or abuse or just dickheadness related but he’s not a big favourite there among the younger players.
