Ryan Ellis was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers by the Nashville Predators on Saturday.
Nashville received defenseman Philippe Myers and forward Nolan Patrick, who was then traded to the Vegas Golden Knights for forward Cody Glass.

Ellis won't play this year, appears to be done. Patrick won't play, might be done. Glass is still in the AHL, though he had an ok year there last year, but is disappointing for his draft spot.

How did Myers end up being possibly the best asset here? I guess it's close to him and Glass, but there isn't really a valuable NHL asset left from this deal.

I remember the days when gord Miller just wouldnt shut up on radio in the summer about how the leafs should trade nylander or Marner to get Ellis

Crazy how that Ellis trade worked out for neither team, like not even close so far

I'm not sure about past seasons, but current Arizona season tickets are about $14k (obviously this.is in part the result of them playing in a super small arena)

Loved Mik. He works his butt off, great wheels…. I don’t think he has the hands to really breakout. Last years output is about one should expect from him. Really decent third liner, good on the PK, but if you expect more… disappointment. But, maybe I will eat crow.

Ahhhh…..One of those fans that don’t watch after the Leafs are eliminated. StL, Wash and TB have had epic Cup parades. :cool:

They’ll be selling it all at the TDL
