Leafs is a bad place for him, it will expose his drinking problem more being under Toronto microscope. Fans there will be thinking he's drunk on UFA day.

yeah, out of all our playoff losses in the 2010s that one's the only one that still pisses me off. not just because i think they would've won the cup had they advanced, but because of what we've come to found out about those chicago teams

and those playoffs made me hate their goal song so much lol. Just hearing it again will make me think of Kane skating around the Ducks pylons and scoring. A player that can score with speed like that is what i'd finally like to see the Ducks have in their toolbox. Feels like all 32 other teams got at least one guy who can fly and score.

I think it's quite simply this. Florida was outshot in a majority of games during the playoffs IIRC, and honestly probably outplayed overall. Yes, more shots doesn't mean better opportunities, but hot goaltender and timely goal scoring. Good for Bob!

I thought he was going to sit the year out if he couldn't get a deal done in Toronto? I guess things have changed because of how everything went down. He'll have a hell of a lot of work to do in Pittsburgh if that's where he winds up.
