NHL bans specialty jerseys during warmups next year, because, cowards.
Its about $$ greed most likely, they don't want to go thru a Bud Light situation with losing $$.I'd love to see if the NHL has ANY reasoning behind it or it's literally just an attempt to avoid any and all controversy.
they're going to be losing $$$ if anything because those specialty jerseys do a great job of bringing in cash. it's not just the pride jerseys that are going to be done away with. this should mean no more retro warmups, hockey fights cancer, cultural nights, etcIts about $$ greed most likely, they don't want to go thru a Bud Light situation with losing $$.
Same reason they are ok with Ads on jerseys, $$$$$.
The military jerseys I never liked though. Considering the tensions with russia it might be for the best the military jerseys go away.they're going to be losing $$$ if anything because those specialty jerseys do a great job of bringing in cash. it's not just the pride jerseys that are going to be done away with. this should mean no more retro warmups, hockey fights cancer, cultural nights, etc
i'm sure they'll keep the military appreciation jerseys though
Yes, fear of losing $$ and probably some pressure from the players' union. Its about $$ greed most likely, they don't want to go thru a Bud Light situation with losing $$.

Well it appears they are keeping the speciality jerseys afterall just not the warmups. I mean 'warm up' jerseys are not the ones i'd fight over. I honestly care more about them cleaning up toxic locker room culture than special jerseys, the jerseys don't change how they act in the locker room to people of color or LGBTQ+. A guy could be homophobic but wear the pride jersey so everyone thinks he nice.Yes, fear of losing $$ and probably some pressure from the players' union.
I haven't been in an NHL locker room, so I can't speak to how they act in there. My point was that there were probably players that wore the warmups to escape public censure, but let the union know that they weren't happy about it.Well it appears they are keeping the speciality jerseys afterall just not the warmups. the worn jerseys are the ones people want more though... those jersey's are gonna sell way better than a just a regular non-worn jersey.Well it appears they are keeping the speciality jerseys afterall just not the warmups. I think most people just want to go to games and see hockey. They can get their social justice quota watching the cable news channel of their choice. I hope this is a trend that feeds into all sports. Just let the fans watch the game.I'd love to see if the NHL has ANY reasoning behind it or it's literally just an attempt to avoid any and all controversy.
Fans have soured on him because he is pretty poor defensively. He’s a high-risk player. Now that Clarke is ready for the NHL, they don’t need Durzi anymore. Doughty-Roy-Clarke-Spence is a solid RHD group.surprised LA traded durzi. wasn't he one of their better young d-men?
6 active forwards + 3 RFAs
4 active defensemen - all with only one year left in their deals (although 3 of which will be RFAs)
1 active goalie + 1 RFA
That's insane.

Any team that has aspirations to be in the playoffs cannot afford to have Durzi in their lineup. He is guaranteed to be the direct result of at least one opposition goal per game. Just awful defense and questionable decision making.surprised LA traded durzi. wasn't he one of their better young d-men?
who else forgot the nhl awards were happening today?
