Shameful to treat a head coach that way. They're used to being fired, to having their jobs questioned, but to be basically publicly cuckolded by another guy and have it drawn out like that? Terrible organization.BB was great here for the most part, but the guy's just turned 68 and this team is years off benefitting from what BB could do.
Pathetic how he's been treated by Vancouver, but also not surprising, one of the worst ownership groups in NA sports.
Especially bad when they are treating a coach as decorated as BB in such a way to bring in a guy who's career winning percentage is 8 losses off being below .400.Shameful to treat a head coach that way. boudreau's ducks teams overachieved like crazy. talk about getting the most you can out of your players. i'm not sure there are many coaches better at that than BBWhen Bruce first came to Anaheim they weren't expected the make the playoffs his first full year in Anaheim in 2012-13. He's good at developing players and getting them to play an actual system.
This wouldn't be the same kind of retread with Carlyle where he came in to get them to win in the playoffs and he's horrible at developing players.
Such a clown show. Incredible.

Cogs knows whats up
Anyone who still doubts the "old boys club" being alive and well in the NHL can be referred back to this post please. f***ing insanity that anyone would give Tocchet another head coach job. From what I understand, his replacement is reportedly Rick Tocchet, who had to give TNT 4-week notice before he left the network to take the job. So Rutherford has simply been stringing Bruce along as a dead man walking.
Loved him in his time in Anaheim and the Ducks teams he coached were super fun to watch. Would love to have him back in the organization next season.
Hopefully remembering this game will cheer Bruce up.
If it were me, that’s what I’d do but he doesn’t strike me as a guy who’d dwell on it for too long and he just loves the game. I hope to see him back coaching somewhere next year (and hopefully in Anaheim, lol)^ Though I'll add to that, if Bruce has term remaining on his contract (believe he does have one year left), he should ride it out and enjoy some time off before taking a job elsewhere. Make their POS ownership have to pay every cent.
