Our team needs a Bruce but he should really look for better opportunities since we are a few years out.

If he wanted to come on board and bring an assistant with him with good tactical chops I could get behind that fully.

I would suspect one of the reasons they dragged BB through the mud was an effort to make him quit, so they don't have to pay him, Aquilini is just that type of guy.
Yep it sure looks like that's what they were doing, just disgraceful really. Aquilini is now stuck with three head coaches on the payroll (Green/Boudreau/Tocchet) and has no clue that he's just shoveling fresh snow on top of a turd.

It would have been wrong to do this to Bruce, in order to bring in anyone, but for this guy? Marginally more accomplished than Eakins as a HC.

and i'm pretty sure the only reason the coyotes even made the playoffs in 19-20 when tocchet was HC was because of the different playoff format in the bubble

Yup, they beat Nashville in the qualifying round, then got smoked by Colorado in 5 games. Colorado won games 4 and 5 by a combined score of 14-2.

Would Bruce even be an option for Anaheim next year if Dallas is out? He is a player coach, and would be good for the kids, but doesn't his system play a more physical grit system.....then again we need that, lol.

Thought the same thing when I was reading about this, so I really hope he endures this immense pressure and says a nice FU to all of them (and later gets the money). So that they have to pay three coaches, IIRC.

don't see him returning because even with a top pick in the draft, this team is still quite a ways away from contending again

at his age, i suspect he'll take a year off before joining a team ready to contend for a cup

Garbage organization

Well, Virtanen is warranted IIRC he did some bad stuff.

But overall, I think the Oilers management has bitten Canucks management and now the Canucks are all mad crazy going down a spiral for years. That org is in some dark times for years.

Sincerely, a fan of the worst team in the NHL and a fan of the worst team in the AHL.

Florida Panthers are not a good team. They have all that depth, yet are still around .500. They don’t have a 1st round pick till 2026. Yikes.

Columbus is terrible. Very depressing that we are just as bad.
More depressing for Columbus since they were suppose to be at least be contending for playoffs, granted they are injured as anything. But at least we were suppose to be terrible.

Honestly if they end up with Bedard and then they get healthy next year I see them having a rebound similar to Tampa back in the early 20-teens

I’m starting to think Ryan Miller’s record for most wins by an American goaltender might be secure for awhile more. Quick looks completely washed and he still needs 25 more victories to do it
I hope you're right. I think it might come down to whether or not the Kings (or any other team) want to give him a shot as a backup next year.

He's given up 4+ goals in I think 9 straight starts. He's cooked.

Quick looks so washed up lately.
