Interesting. I just watched this game for the second time on Sportsnet. First time was live and second time, it was not live (obviously). The second time I watched it, I was expecting to hear the booing but it was totally edited out.

Oh, and eight straight!
 
We had a rough 3rd period but having to kill 3 PP's in the period had a effect. I can't believe how well we are doing, 8 wins in a row all without our captain too . Maybe we should trade Lowry apparently we don't need him..... :laugh:

Glad Scotty gave him a game. Probably goes back to the Moose for the next 2 weeks with some confidence. Parker Ford too.

I agree it is a learning experience and that was just one play but putting him on the 4th line is not suited for his skill set. I think Perfetti is a much better overall player than Lambert. I also think Ford struggled at times but is better suited for 4th line play.
 
If Schiefele declined an invitation (wouldn’t happen) because Crosby can’t go, I wouldn’t be mad. He deserves the 2 weeks off. And honestly I do not want the chance of any Jets getting hurt at that tournament.

Missed the game, but those highlights are very Harlem Globetrotters like, clowning on the Generals when they felt like it.

That game over 60 mins I would rate the Jets play/effort a C overall. Not the prettiest or best game by far, pretty meh actually. I suspect they came into the game thinking of the break and that the NYI are a non playoff team and would be an easy win. Helle stood tall in that final 20 mins.

It is because of injury and nothing else otherwise they would be rotating Ville and Coughlan in for the Powertool.
I just think Ford is a better fit for 4th line minutes but what do I know unlike Arniel; I am not head coach of the 1 st place team in the NHL 🤯👊

Yes the Jets have to be better this playoffs i agree but it's not like they aren't the best team in the NHL right now as we speak . Best goals for / against in the NHL at +68 helps show that don't you think? And we just finished beating the 2nd place Caps in their barn . It's ok to give the Jets some respect you know instead of always being down on the team . :thumbu:
