After Christmas, head coach Bruce Boudreau said he wasn’t sure when Pearson would be back, but expressed some optimism he might join the team on their current road trip.

Instead, Pearson’s season is over. He skated in just 14 games this year, scoring one goal and adding four assists for five points.

And given that he’s had three procedures on his hand in three months, questions arise about the long-term health of his hand and how it might affect his hockey career.

The Sharks retaining on EK would be huge, and they kind of HAVE to trade him now and cash in while they can--he's not getting younger or more uninjured and like Chychrun he's getting juiced by the team to some of the cushiest deployment possible but he's putting up historic numbers doing it. He'd be a monster add for any playoff team.

My offer to Kate Upton for her to sleep with me is a half eaten Big Mac and a large Diet Coke with almost no backwash in it. I’m giving up a lot, but you’ve gotta give to get.

That's still a $9.4m hit until 2027 for Karlsson. And sending picks the other way. While being a team he would agree to play for. Of course Karlsson will continue being a Shark.

yeah, they could end up in 3rd . still don't trust their goalies or defense. they're outscoring teams right now and both their guys are under .900. Would not trust Jones to carry that team.

3 first for 32 yr old EK? This isn't primetime EK were talking here no matter what they're willing to retain. :laugh:
 
Seattle is monstrous lately and they're going to be challenging for the division down the stretch. Will be a fun race.

But as the Kings heat up as well will be interesting to see what happens with Seattle's PDO. Martin Jones is still Martin Jones and someone like McCann isn't going to keep shooting 35% or whatever he's at now (it was as high as 40 recently).
 
Devils dismantled the Ducks. Best road team in the league coming in tomorrow. Kings better have their A game on. Oh and Trevor Zegras watch kid is just dealing -10 the past 3 games. Another impressive -4 tonight. Not trashing the kid hes obviously super talented but man need to learn how to play a 200 ft game. Yikes.

3 goals, 4 assists, and a -14 in his last 10 games. Brutal. And yet McTavish was a +1! Riddle me that. I think McTavish is gonna be a real pain in the ass for us in the future.

Funny you mentioned McTavish I was thinking the same thing. LOL. I was watching the game for a bit and I believe he will be the future captain of that team. He's really good just plays the game the right way. Built like a tank and he's going to be really freakin good.
