The guy has 44 points in 42 games. Even if he's playing with McDavid and Draisaitl, that's pretty good.
Huala level production

That was mostly to mock one MIA poster that had such a fascination with these two players. I'm pretty sure he even cited Hyman last year as being a reason the Oilers had gotten better and the Leafs were struggling and that the Leafs just can't win a playoff round with him gone. And he was way over pumping up the tires of Goodrow. The guy has 44 points in 42 games. Even if he's playing with McDavid and Draisaitl, that's pretty good.
So the Bratt Pack tweeted remember Keith Kinkaid today, but do you guys remember Ken Appleby? Shades of Marty in game 3 of the 2003 finals.
Funny that their goalie tandem for the Bridgeport Islanders right now is Schneider/Appleby, which was actually the dressed goalie tandem for us for a couple of games when Kinkaid was injured, right around this very time 5 years ago in January of 2018.
Jonathan Quick also allowed a goal like that against the Rangers close to 10 years ago. I can't remember who scored it, I gotta find it. I think it was the same year the Kings and Rangers played in the finals, but it was in a regular season game earlier that year.
I just found it, still not sure who even scored it.
It’s astounding that 4 pretty franchise altering bad deals all occurred within hours of each other. How would you rank them from worst to best? Including extensions I think I go Jones, Buch, OEL, Risto. The OEL one is probably more damning long term than Buch but the Rangers with Buch last year and going forward would be so much more threatening. The best part is literally none of the 4 moves needed hindsight. All were god awful from the moment they were made.
OEL, Buchnevich and Risto were awful without hindsight but does Jones fall into this category? Weren't they getting a franchise d-man at that point? Of course they were no longer a team that should have done a 'win now' move but didn't Jones decline heavily after that deal?

Isn't Ristolainen like legit the worst player in the NHL? I remember this being heavily talked about maybe just a couple months ago.
I thought Buchnevich was still good?
The others sucks. OEL is almost like Yandle 2,0, that guy that fans of teams all over the league wanted like 5 years ago and now he's not good and on a terrible contract. And both him and Yandle started out in Arizona.
Ah, okay. I was confused there. I was like ''Wasn't he really good? He got that bad already?'' but I didn't realize you meant for the Rangers it was bad.Yeah Risto’s one of the worst players in the league and literally always has been. Buch is great. It’s an awful deal for the Rangers giving him up for a 2nd and Blais.

Yes, I've been beating my chest and pounding the drum on how stupid that deal was for the Rangers. I've been told ''It wasn't that bad''.
Yeah, a PPG player for a 4th liner isn't that bad. Okay, yeah, sure, whatever.
And I know he wasn't really a PPG with the Rangers, but he was still a borderline 1st line player and getting nothing back but a measly 2nd and a guy that's shown no ability to be anything better than a borderline 3rd liner during his best stretch and his NHL production to date has been identical to Jesper Boqvist's. That's really worth publicly shaming them for a long time over.
That deal looks worse than Larsson for Hall at this point.
I’m in New Hampshire for the night so I watched the Bruins game.. I’ve always heard people say Jack Edwards is terrible but I didn’t realize just how brutal he is to listen to. How does he have that job?!

To be fair, one player appears to be significantly better than the other and that player is Hyman.
I will never understand why Goodrow is traded for 1st round picks or signed for 7 year deals. I watched him come up with the Sharks and he was basically a 4th liner/borderline 3rd liner outside of his last year there. If Tampa hadn't won those two cups with him after trading their 1st for him, that trade would constantly be mocked and looked at as being very bad. He also scored that big series winning goal in game 7 against Vegas in 2019 when the Sharks came back from 3-0 down late in that game and scored a bunch of goals on the double minor power play. And it was a game where he played 7 minutes, while the game I think lasted almost 80 minutes. One of his 5 career playoff goals in 74 games.
For all the ''Playoff performer'' talk, the guy has a measly FIVE playoff goals and 15 points in 74 career playoff games.

Yeah, I actually forgot what he used to sound like until I heard an old clip recently and the difference is startling. He really needs to retire.I didn't notice until someone pointed it out how he basically can't say a sentence without... pausing, or at least, taking...his time. Something's going on there, he wasn't like that a few years ago.

This poster is definitely IA, he's just under his 24th name at this point. Although to be fair there are two guys who I can't tell apart who come in with a new name every month and maybe one of them is finally gone.
